The Mystic Masters Speak: A Treasury of Cosmic Wisdom

Love this book I managed to get it in hardcover. I was fortunate to have Vernon Howard for a teacher 1985 till his death in 1992. The man was an Avatar of the highest degree, and gave thousands of talks to his School for over 20 years. But the beauty of this book, is that he draws pearls of wisdom from a wide variety of Spiritual Genius's from Amiel and Aurelius to Plato and Vivekinanda. He puts their wise quotes in the form of questions and answers. One could take a quote and work with it all day long. One of Mr. Howard's most illustrious students, Guy Finley has a similar book, inspired from this one called "The Seeker, The Search, The Sacred." Which is awesome as well. The wonder about these books also is they make ANY path- more illuminated.

This book helps me do just that.

arrived on time and intact

I am a fan of Vernon Howard because he tells about how to basically develop a roadmap to being confident, strong in mind, and spirit. He doesn't develop one for you, you just find what applies to your life at the time you need it. His answers and wisdom to several problems in spirit are found inside of this book as well as others.

An excellent collection of wisdom that can be practically applied to any situation in life. I've committed portions of this book to memory. One of my most treasured possessions.

One of my sisters turned me and another sister on to this book and we all three agree it's great. It's organized like a Q&A session, and cites the originator of each quote from ancient to modern times. My son happened upon it and has been reading it through and through, it's that addictive and fascinating. It's also difficult to find. I was lucky to find a copy in a used book store but sadly it's been lost in the mists of time. I was excited to see this neat new version from Amazon, and can't wait to pry it from my son and start reading it again. Get it.
