HeiLSound HTH-I Heil Handi Talkie Headset for Icom Handheld Radios

This headset is lightweight, comfortable, and effective in helping me hear audio better than with the Icom radio's built-in speaker, especially in noisy environments. The boom microphone position is easy to adjust up and down, and it can be swung upward, so that it is entirely out of the way. The microphone's neck is also flexible/adjustable, so the closeness of the microphone to mouth can be easily adjusted.

Has a cheap feeling due to too much plastic used on the headset.Sound quality is average for both speaker and microphone.Speaker pad is small, and it applies too much pressure on the ear. It becomes uncomfortable after a few minutes of use.I was expecting a lot more from a Heil product, especially at this price point.I would not recommend this headset to anyone.

Its very light weight and simply plugs into my IC-705. I wear hearing aids so I was worried about the headset's earpiece causing feedback. No problem! I have 2 older Heil headsets used mainly with my IC-7000. The HTH-I is a good addition.

Great product.Gigaparts offers a fair price. The only reason why the price seems high is because you have to include shipping with the price. Will continue to do business with them.

This is a great working unit and I truly love it. BUT The cheaply made overpriced ear pad is lacking. It falls off to easily to be costing $5.00 per pad.. As far as sound and people liking what they hear it is great
