I love it! It's perfect!

I love these dolls, bought them for my child, but the bear is harder to open and close than the other animals. Easy fix for us though. We don't close it all the way. The paint and details are great and the wood seems pretty sturdy. Overall happy with these guys.

If you want an inexpensive, not particularly well made, but adequate nesting nativity set, this is OK. The quality is just acceptable. But it was cheap, so.... As many reviewers said, the individual dolls are VERY difficult to pry apart. I sanded the inside of the larger piece on each of them and they now fit fairly well. Also the bottom of the infant Jesus still had some kind of wood growth on it, so it wouldn't stand up - but again, a quick hit with an angle grinder and it was fine. Someone forgot to put the beard on the shepherd, so he looks like a choir boy. But hey - we got this for our three year old granddaughter. Now that the pieces fit together easily it's going to work well for her. We wanted something inexpensive but fun that she could play with during Advent/Christmas and this will do it

They are hard to open, very tight but my son sure loves them.

After 30 minutes of trying, one of the Matryoshka pieces is so tightly wedged insight another we cannot get it out. It took 20 minutes to open the smallest opening piece. The pieces stick poorly.Matryoshka pieces are off the shelf--how can you have a misfit that badly?I wasn't expecting much from an item of this cost, but this is a POS.

My daughter loves to put stuff in stuff she loves it! And it’s done very nicely !! It’s so cute.

Bought it as a Christmas gift, and the recipient loved it. She says she wants to collect Russian dolls now, so I know where to get one each year for her.
