If you want raspberry tea for the flavor this is not for you but if you are looking for medicinal grade raspberry leaf this is the best! Raspberry leaf tea doesn't taste like raspberries at all! This has a mild herb flavor that I wouldn't fool with if I only drank it for the taste. Red raspberry is especially good for the female system and helpful during pregnancy for a number of reasons but it is safe for everyone. (unless you happen to be allergic, which I've never heard of before but who knows?) The first time I harvested my own raspberry leaves I through them out after they were dried because I thought they looked moldy. I have since learned that this is just the look of dried raspberry leaves! When it is dried it is still somewhat soft instead of crunchy like most dried herbs and it clumps together. This is a very mild tea and should be steeped like white or green tea: heat water to 175 degrees F and use 1 1/2 teaspoons for every 8oz of water. Steep for 2-4 minutes according to taste. I like to sweeten mine with a little honey. As with most herbal teas, it doesn't cream well.

The tea came in a silver, resealable bag. It is bright green, fluffy, and very fresh-smelling. After steeping, the leaves turn a dark green; they are large enough to not come through my tea infuser. Taste is very fresh and excellent with just a bit of honey added. There are a few twigs here and there, but nothing longer than a couple of inches or so. I shouldn't need to buy this tea again for a long, long time - this bag will make hundreds of cups of tea if 1-2 teaspoons are used per cup. Buying this much tea in pre-bagged form would be $60+, so the big bag is 25 cents on the dollar!

Absolutely love that I purchased this! I am seven months pregnant and it has really helped so far with swelling and improving my sleep. I'm also looking forward to the benefits during labor and after for breastfeeding. I will definitely come back to my review in a few months to update. I usually drink 2 cups a day one in the morning then again in the evening. The only draw back that I can think of is that my stool is a bit more loose than normal (Sorry for too much info), but that might bother some people. Anyways its a great loose leaf tea and it comes with plenty in it, though I might have to purchase again to last me throughout the whole third trimester and beyond, but I'm more than happy to! If you'd like to start during the first or second trimester my midwife said 1 cup a day is suitable then change to 2-3 cups during the third. I will probably start 3 cups once I reach 32 weeks.

I use this in place of mare magic and there isn’t a difference I can tell. It has the same effect without the price tag. Her mare was a brood mare at some point and this definitely helps keep her cycle in check. She is no longer as messy as she was. Definitely will continue to use. It’s better quality than some others I have tried and I have not found anything in it that doesn’t belong

This makes some pretty fantastic tea! My midwife recommended that I drink red raspberry leaf tea during my pregnancy. I had never ordered herbs in this quantity before so I was not quite sure what to expect. You get so much of the raspberry leaf in this package! I filled an entire gallon glass jar! The raspberry leaf is nice and dry but very fresh and aromatic. A great price for the quantity and quality. It will take me a very very long time to go through this whole jar but once it is gone, I will definitely be ordering more!

Nice raspberry tea - dried leaves that is. It does have an occasional inclusion of other grasses, but not enough to worry and easily discernable to remove when making yourself a cuppa. I like the flavor, although it's just a dried herb, not fermented tea.

6 HOUR LABOR AND DELIVERY!!! I mean yes I did a few other things, but the way my contractions felt...they were very powerful.This was my third pregnancy and I do not remember my contractions being nearly as effective. My second labor was 23 hours long. Labor stalled. Contractions we’re doing much.I drank this every day from 16 weeks to 20 weeks than twice a day from 20 to 24 and then doubled both servings from 24 to 38 weeks and then added a third double batch a day. I gave birth at 40 weeks ON my duedate.Not to mention, the tea tastes great iced wth lemon!! Mmmm I still have a ton left over and plan to give some to my sister who’s expecting!

Amazing quality! I don't know what their drying process is but this is some of the freshest herb leaves I've ever ordered! I make a lot of my own teas and herbal body products. I sought this out for some pregnancy tea, and I couldn't be happier. Way above and beyond the last raspberry leaf I bought which was grey and certainly looked like dried crushed up old leaves. These leaves, however, are so green still! As soon as you steep them in water the aroma ignites and they reconstitute nicely almost looking fresh! A little bit goes a long way because of that! This will certainly last awhile making it a great high-quality value!
