Fit well with no seams to cause friction and no slipping or bunching.As advertised, moved sweat away from the foot.Noticed after taking trainers off after a run, feet felt comfortable and dry but left damp foot prints on the kitchen floor.So good that I’ve bought more pairs.

For a long time I have had to put up with size 12 socks, as never found any larger, which normally fit OK at first but after a few washes, shrink a little and get tight over time.I started using these Hilly socks for running originally, but found them so comfortable that I am now buying these for everyday use. Apart from being a good size for me, they maintain their size and quality over time, with regular washing, which many others I have tried do not. They are more expensive than the normal run of the mill socks found in most shops, but well worth the additional cost for the fit and long lasting quality.

Purchased these running socks as I was trying to find out the cause of blisters when running and it turned out to be my old running socks. These are comfortable and no blisters since using these socks.

I love these Hilly trail socks. They are finely made with no visible seams and together with the 33% wool content are brilliant in preventing friction and blisters. I have just walked and run 20 km in warm conditions wearing a similar pair of Hilly - and my feet did not sweat nor overheat. With extra thickness on the heels and toes, these are suitable for exercise and are eminently comfortable - provided that they fit!The sizing is a little ambiguous. I am a female size 6/39 and having ordered ‘medium’ in the past, which are a little generous, I thought I would go for small. Bearing in mind that men’s feet are larger than women’s equivalent fitting, the small should have fitted appropriately snugly. Whilst the English label states that this pair would fit UK 3-5.5, the European sizing states unequivocally that it fits size 39: that’s me! Not so - even with stretch, these were far too small in the length and the sock heel fell, quite surprisingly, well short of my own.I am so disappointed and would advise any future purchasers to go up a size if unsure.

Comfy socks with medium padding - bought large to allow for tumble drying 🙄 - they work well even when running in water. Will replace all my gym socks with more of these

Used these socks to hike a coastal marathon. They were extremely comfortable and no slippage. Had two pairs to allow switching half way to reduce blisters from moisture. They washed well and have kept great shape and quality after multiple uses.
