Vittorio

I saw and heard Vittorio for the first time when I was watching "The Bachelor". I am embarrassed to admit that but it is true. I saw the CD offered on Amazon and I bought it. I have no regrets about my purchase. The variety of the music selection is incredible. This is the most beautiful music I have ever heard bar none!I was brought to tears as I listened to it. The first song "TU SEI" inspired me so that I wrote four pages in my journal. I have not written in my journal in months! The songs Vittorio sings have so much passion, depth, and emotion in them. I found myself dancing to one song and in the next song I am in tears. All I keep saying after CD ends is Wow! and Amazing! I love Bocelli but Vittorio is Absolutely DIVINE!

Bocelli is my gold standard for beautiful, moving voices. However, I am always on the lookout for new tenors who sing in the romance languages. With the exception of Josh Groban, who does a fantastic job for a non-native speaker, I was always disappointed in my search. Vittorio Grigolo's voice touches my soul and makes my spirits soar. Another reviewer said that Vittorio's music has the power to transport. I agree wholeheartedly. I am thrilled to have discovered him, and I look forward to more beautiful music in the future. I can't stop playing this CD. Bravissimo Vittorio!

Because I'm a huge fan of Il Divo, Amazon sent me an email inviting me to listen to the tenor Vittorio. I immediately went to their website and played the song bites. I was instantly enchanted. I sent for his CD and have played it so often it's nearly melted! His beautiful tenor voice hits all the highest notes with ease. The melodies of his love songs are hauntingly beautiful. There isn't one song of the twelve that I don't love hearing over and over. I look forward to more beautiful songs sung by the handsome Vittorio. If you adore Il Divo, you'll love Vittorio.

great CD love all the music

Simply he's the one who heal the pains.untill now i didn't remove the CD from my car and when i feel that i want to go to my past i will immediatly choose vittorio, may god bless him and he create more songs for us. but i shall advise him that next time not to sing with commercial singers like the team leader of the pussy cat Dolls, she's horibble and she rewind the song i always skip it and listen to the single by vittorio. i may suggest Dulce puentes or sarah brightman or siggara. finally this is my opinion it may shall not be loved by others but i do respect other opinions.

A true opera singer, Vittorio also does a lovely job with "pop" music. This is not your Josh Groban. The voice is true Italian, the music divine. Although Tu Sei is still my favorite, five years later I have the CD on my IPod under Favorite Tunes. Tremendous compliation by an extraordinary singer.

When I first put on this CD I thought I had picked up the wrong one as it sounded just like Robert Readmore, but soon realised it wasn't as Vittoria has a far richer voice. I only know three of the songs but enjoyed the whole CD; in particular Maria. He sang it so beautifully it brought goose bumps which just worsened with that last note. Vittorio would definitely appeal to the women because of his warm, passionate voice and not because of his good looks as a previous reviewer kept on harping on. Vittoria sometimes sounded like Josh Grobin but only fleetingly. I'm a Josh Grobin fan but I could grow to like Vittorio more because of his richness of voice. This CD is worth having among your collection.

Sorry with the exception of a couple of songs in this CD I feel disapointed. I would have prefer to get some of the classical neapolitan songs. Griggolo has a beautiful voice and I would enjoy it even more with the old tunes though new ones could be included but in a minority.

This album features a selection of easy to listen to songs that makes it ideal to chill out to and it is technically well recorded.His voice is very nice too, Kaufman or Calleja he is not but he does have a voice which makes it ideally suited to lighter opera, operetta or stage. Think more Alfie Boe, indeed if you are a fan of Boe, Josh Groban or Russell Watson you are going to love this album.This is high quality crossover and I have enjoyed listening to this very much.

テノール歌手Vittorio Grigoloのポップスアルバムです。かのSimon CowellからIl Divoに誘われたのを断ったとか、アイスショーのＴＶ放送でフィギュアスケーターのステファン・ランビエールよりも長い時間カメラに映されたことで、スケートファンの恨みをかったとか、いろいろ逸話のある人です。このアルバムは「おすすめ商品」に出てきていたのですが、口コミがなかったので、買うのをずっと躊躇っていました。聞いてみたらパワフルなラブソングあり、バラードあり、ポップスを歌うVittorioもいいなと感激しました。私としては、オペラのアリアを集めたものもいいけど、またこういうポップスを歌ったアルバムを出してくれないかなと思っています。このアルバムは、いわゆるポッペラファンであれば必聴です。美しい情熱的な歌声に、胸のつかえがとれるような、すっきりした気分になれます。ちなみに"You Are My Miracle"は、US盤はプッシーキャット・ドールズのNicole Scherzingerとのデュエットですが、UK盤はKatherine Jenkinsとのデュエットになっているようです。

オペラ歌手がポップスを歌うとあまりに朗々とこれ見よがしになりますよね。まあそれがいいという方はヴィットリオのささやくような歌い方を「どうなんだ」と煙たがるきらいはあると思います。私はオペラ発声に頼らず、曲のよさが一番引き出せるように歌っていると思います。彼のオペラアリアはどれも完璧なテクニックで歌いこまれていますので、このアルバムのようなポップスを聞くとリフレッシュできます。何しろ素晴らしい美声なのでロマンティックな気分に浸れます。
