'Most Wanted' album of the year!
Hunter Hayes is one of the youngest (age 20), and most talented artists in country music today. Already well-accomplished, this album is a testament to Hunter's experience and natural talent. He plays every note, and sings every background vocal on the album (Source: Billboard). I would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys the music of Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, or Rascal Flatts. At $5.99, this is well-worth the price. I just got the album today, and I'm obsessed.Favorite songs:"Wanted"- Probably my favorite song on the album. This song is so tender. It definitely pulls at the heartstrings, and it is simply a beautiful ballad."Storm Warning"- The first song I ever heard from Hunter, and it has stuck with me ever since. The beat is upbeat and catchy, and the song has a fun meaning to it. Definitely the song to blare with the windows rolled down."Rainy Season"- To be frank, this song is long (5 minutes and 7 seconds, to be precise). Although, the duration is well worth it. Hunter's vocals and instrumental abilities truly shine in this song. This album is a steal at $5.99. I love every song on the album (which is rare), and I have the feeling this album will be on repeat for awhile. This is definitely my favorite country album of the year!

A Most Excellent Work
I had never heard of Hunter Hayes until quite recently. I don't often listen to "Country" music, and can count the number of such genre albums that I own. So when I came across his work more or less by accident, I searched from more information and listened to a few song samples. What a pleasant surprise! As others have mentioned, Hunter wrote all the songs, plays all the instruments, and sings all voices. I believe I've read that he is competent on at least 32 instruments! The mixes are absolutely remarkable and sound superb on my playback equipment, probably one of the best discs, technically, that I have. It's a powerful, fresh, and up-beat sound. I've listened multiple times and loaded the entire disk also to my portable player. This guy is a major talent and deserves even more recognition than he's gotten; he should be headlining instead of opening for the better-known acts with whom he often tours! He has a very good, clear voice, and the instrumentation and mix are flawless. I enjoy every song on this debut studio effort, and all but two are, for me, exceptional favorites. I think I'd classify Hayes's music as sort-of Pop Country...The cost of the CD has dropped a bit since I bought the disc, so it's an even better value at the new price. If you like any clip from the set, the entire album will be well worthwhile.

Amazon music won't let me download the songs to my phone
I don't by music. I bought this album because it's awesome and i wanted to litsen to it on my phone in the background while I do work on my phone, instead of opening up a YouTube playlist each time.Amazon music let me download a few songs and they played well, just like a regular song file on my phone. Then after I got the whole album downloaded, none of them will play. They only play in the Amazon music app. I don't want the app, I want the album...

Young and Lot of P
Good music I can't wait to see how he will develop over the next few years. A gift to all country and music fans everywhere.Hayes was born on September 9, 1991 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. A Cajun who began his musical career at age two when his grandmother gave him a toy accordion. At age four, he began making appearances at local performances and on national television. Hayes received his first guitar at age six. At 7 years old, Hunter was invited to perform for President Bill Clinton for a White House lawn party. At the age of 13, Hayes appeared on "America's Most Talented Kids,"In 2008, he moved from his hometown of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana to Nashville, Tennessee to be signed with Universal Music Publishing Group as a songwriter. He graduated in 2007, at the age of 16, and in 2010, co-wrote "Play" for the Rascal Flatts album Nothing Like This. In September 2010, Hayes was signed to Atlantic Records Nashville and began working on what would become his debut album.

Definitely a hayniac!
After hearing the first few songs on the album forever ago, I was sold. For the past year, I've been listening to his stuff on YouTube and Grooveshark but I finally gave in and got the CD so I can jam in my car. Hunter's music is awesome. There is something for everybody on there. Whether you're excited about love, bummed about it, angry about it, or just happy to be alive, he's got something for you. Hunter plays pretty much every instrument possible (except the fiddle, by his own admission) and has such a great singing voice. He writes almost all of the songs, too. This guy has come so far and is going to go amazing places. He is truly talented and I can't wait for the rest of the world to realize it too.For those who say he isn't country, he's played with Hank Williams, Jr., Johnny and June Cash, and Charlie Daniels among others. I'm sure those folks would disagree with you.

I love Wanted!
Hunter gives his fans a taste of country, rock and pop. I love " Wanted " and there seems to be a hint of Prince on "Rainy Season". But all of the CD is very enjoyable. I give it a five(5)star rating because its a CD you can listen to in its entirety without feeling embarrassed because of the lyrics being too explicit.

Great album
I first saw Hunter Hayes with Carrie Underwood. He puts on a pretty darn good show. I wasn't real familiar with his music other than the song wanted. After hearing a few of his other songs i decided to buy this album. It is great from start to finish. One of those albums that i can start at song one and never have to touch the radio again until this album finishes. i love all of the extra songs on the Encore version. Totally worth the price in entertainment value.

I Know It's Crazy - Good!
The first time I ever heard Hunter Hayes was when he sang with Danielle Bradbury on The Voice. I fell in love with his voice, talent, and energy. I loved this album. He has a sound unique to him alone. The music ranged from energetic to easily listening country. His music is age appropriate - for his age that is. I am 58. I find it quite appropriate for me! It is clean and pleasant to listen to. He makes me smile.

A great showcase for this new talent
There's no getting away from it, Hunter Hayes is and incredible talent - a great vocalist, fantastic musician capable on a number of instruments and a top draw songwriter... and all this at age 22! The first track of his that I heard was 'Wanted', some time back when he was about 20/21 and was blown away to find out that he had written such a classy and mature track at such a young age. So why just four stars? I think there is much more to come from Mr Hayes. This album is a great showcase of his talents and has set him an undeniably solid foundation upon which he can build his future career. As far as albums go, I don't want to say that there are filler tracks but there are certainly some lighter, less substantial, more pop tracks that are more forgettable, but these are few and do not take away from the truly strong tracks that make up most of the weight. It's not a perfect album, or even a classic but when you think of the legends of country music past and present ask yourself if they could have put out material this good (written, played and sung) in their late teens/early twenties... even if the answer is yes, it just goes to show that Hunter Hayes is in good company. Most certainly one to watch.

Fantastic new country artist!
I am a huge fan of country music, which includes artists like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum.I had previously heard some of Hunter's songs online but I didn't think anything of it until I bought this CD. I purposely decided to wait until this deluxe version of the album was released. Now I can say that Hunter is my favourite new artist! The fact that he plays all the instuments on the album is astounding in itself with all of the songs (that he wrote) being amazing! The encore version also features Jason Mraz and Ashley Monroe which is a lovely addition. The songs are catchy, well crafted, and all around beautiful. My personal favourites are 'Storm Warning' 'Wanted' 'Love Makes Me'and I also love 'I Want Crazy' and 'In a song' from the deluxe part! This guy is going to be around for a while and I can just tell! He is just beginning his career and it'll be a successful one. Especially as he performed with MR STEVIE WONDER a few weeks ago, afterwards Stevie himself lauded him as a "blessing to country music". That's incredible for a new artist!I really hope he comes over to the UK soon to put on a few shows :)

Best CD I have bought in YEARS !!
I love every song on this CD, I think Hunter is incredible, he co-writes ALL of his songs, and plays all the instruments (over 30 of them) on his album. The songs are brilliant so heartfelt and perfect, its a real shame that other artists manage to become famous, when they are auto-tuned, singing to someone elses song - It makes no sense !! Anyway Love THIS CD ! arrived in a couple of days even though its from America, and yes the CDs work perfectly in our CD players or on computer ! XD

utterly brilliant
Utterly fantastic CD and a must buy if you like kinda country style music. I first heard Hunter on youtube by coincidence I didn't realise he was the singer I had been trying to find about for long time. Just love it and worth every penny spent...not the cheapest CD I ever bought but play it over and over and never tire!
