Love 'em!
Installed these on a 2005 LeSabre and they fit perfectly and ride well. The OEM Delco part number that GM gives crosses to these shocks - in fact they're the same as the AC-Delcos selling on Amazon for 25 bucks more a pair. The original plastic air lines on the Buick were the snap-on type with a retainer clip and these Gabriels are threaded but Gabriel supplies a fitting kit that makes it a snap (er, I mean, a twist) to install. There was ample length on my factory airlines to attach to these shocks even with snipping off the 90-degree connector that was OEM. NOTE - do not use a flush or diagonal cutters on the plastic airline. The inside diameter is so small (well under a millimeter) you'll crush it. Use an exacto knife and slice it cleanly. There is an included large spring you're supposed to install in the dryer - however I omitted it and figured I'd see how the car performs first. The compressor comes on for a self-check as it's supposed to and then everything levels out. I see no reason to change the spring. Your mileage may vary of course. As for ride comfort, I see little difference between these new ones and the originals. They're a bit stiffer, ever so slightly, but hey they're new. That's to be expected. I saw reviews of the MA822's and it seemed more people said they were stiffer than not and I wanted to keep that large car ride intact as much as possible. No complaints here. Note that I don't have the stiff suspension option (the F41) so maybe for the firm-ride options the Monroes may not be as stiff since the springs are tighter to begin with. With the FE1 soft-ride these are the way to go.Overall these shocks are super and for a saving of nearly 480 over dealer price (535 to install) you cannot beat this set.

Fixed my 2003 Buick LeSabre
This kit came with all the necessary materials and fitment pieces. It was straightforward and easy to install. I like that it provided a manual fill valve which I did install for backup should my oem compressor die out. My shocks had previously been replaced so I already had the screw on connections for airlines but this kit provided enough materials for conversion to screw on connections which I feel are superior.Ride is smooth, and lines hold air well. I've had them installed for about 2 months now and everything still working properly. Greatly improved my ride. Do recommend

Gabriel 49228 shock review
Shocks were delivered on time without issues but shocks do not come with the hold down nuts or the mounting bushingsas you have to use the old ones from shocks being replaced. All air lines and fittings were present & worked without any issues. I replaced the OEM air self-adjusting shocks on my Pontiac SSEI and set air pressure at 40psi and did not set off the level sensor warning. Increased cornering and stability was noticed over old stock shocks as I was trying to accomplish.

Easy, cheap, fun
The hardest part of the install is the removal of the old shocks. Once they're off, it goes pretty easy. You'll need to drill a hole near the rear of the vehicle for the schrader valve (where the air goes in), and carefully route the air lines to the shocks. Wire ties keep the lines away from mufflers, springs and the like. Use a new, sharp blade to cut the lines to length. I found that these shocks suited my needs without having to replace the standard coil springs on my ride. I often had various weights of cargo in the trunk and back seat, so these made adjusting the ride height easy. A portable 12 volt air compressor is all that you need to keep the ride height where you want it. Add or release air to adjust. These shocks replace the PINTA system GM used on many passenger cars with the "self-adjusting" compressor system that eventually wears out, leaks, whatever. A cheap fix to an expensive OEM replacement.
