You can leave litter in box if you do not need to fold it up. We put the box with litter inside into a garbage bag to transport until it is needed again.

Q: Is this washable? could i throw it in the washer and dryer? could i soak it in a tub of detergent water?

Hello, thank you for your question. We don't recommend putting the litter box in the washer. It is cleanable though. You can spray the inside with water and clean with warm soapy water or any cleaning product you like to use.
