Works as described!
I ordered to use on my Coleman above ground pool purchase from Walmart several months ago. Works perfectly to help take the stress off the hose/itpool connections.

Doesn’t work well
Did not allow the same water flow through the hoses that was there before you put this piece onIt changes the intake of the water from coming in as the same pressure as before and the skimmer would not work with this on. It’s a good idea but it has got a little opening going into the pipe that should be biggerIt also needs different kind of clamps to hold it on because it pops off the cubes on the pool

Restricts water flow
I was so excited to get these to help support both of the hoses connected to the b connectors. They look amazing, easy to install and they do exactly what they are supposed to. But they seriously restrict the flow of water out of the pool and into my filter and pump.I couldn’t figure out why the returning water was bubbling. What really brought it to my attention is when I hooked up my surfactant skimmer. The suction was awful. I assumed my filter needed backwashed but that didn’t address the pressure. My filter was running louder and only half of the water was full in the strainer basket attached to my pump. I really wish these would have worked because they are so much nicer looking than anything else available.

Restricts Flow - Can Fall Off
Update : As I suspected, the weight of the hose finally overcame the plastic brace against the pool and the entire connection slipped off after 2 months and drained the pool down to the outlet.Original :The idea is very good, but the design is flawed in my opinion.PROS- It almost does what it's supposed to in favorable conditionsCONS- It can slip off if the pool inlet strainer connector is 1"+ wide, like most are nowadays.- The plastic screw connector is not long enough to allow the piece to slip all the way back on a wide strainer connector which can lead it to slip off and drain the pool down a bit if the wall of the pool or the connection itself is even slightly bumped.- The biggest issue is the restricted water flow by the reduction inside the piece itself. Why this was done is a mystery since it causes a strainer to lose nearly 70% (I just made that up, but it seems accurate) of it's suction power rendering it pretty much useless.- The amount of noise created by the restricted water flow is unnecessary.SOLUTION- Take a pair of scissors (or whatever you find better) and cut the restrictor out or into thin enough pieces that you (and the water) can push it back to make the opening wider. It's probably best to just cut it out completely if you can without destroying the integrity of the outer wall.

Attention ⚠️
Je met 3 étoiles car l adaptateur et de bonne qualité il s adapte très bien mais il reduit trop le debit et mon filtre a sable ne monte plus en pression.Dommage, je garde l adaptateur quand même il pourrais servir ailleurs.
