These work perfectly fine and as advertised. However, I can only give 3 stars (instead of 5 like I would have otherwise) because the metal clip on the back gave me a rash.I wore it clipped on the waistband of my pants so the metal part on the back touched my bare skin and I broke out in a rash around that area. I was able to solve the problem by painting the metal part with clear nail polish, but it upsets me that an item meant to be clipped on a waistband, and thus probably touching bare skin, is not made of better metals, or at least came with a warning that it contains nickel.

I ordered a bunch of these for my job, and I first noticed that the snap isn't very secure. We have two badges that we use here and I guess the weight of TWO badges is too much for these. They will randomly un-snap, and luckily I noticed it before the badges completely fell off and were lost.At first I thought it was just me, I had three badges attached and I took the third one off but it didn't help at all. And after that a lot of the employees told me they were having the same problem.I'm going to order another brand now, but I wanted to let everyone know that if you have more than one badge attached you are liable to lose it because these are trash.

The clear plastic clip part of these does not stay close. I tried two of these, thinking maybe it was a user error. Nope, not a user error, it's just a faulty product. Both times when I used these the clear plastic clip broke open, losing my employee badge and transit pass. Not only did I waste money on these clips, but I also lost the money on my transit pass.Don't waste your money, just buy the more expensive, smaller pack, made by a more reputable brand.

Bought these to string up my Oculus Rift HMD wire. Perfect tension and able to snap them together for a longer reach. Using a Command Hook attached to the ceiling, these will keep your wire out from under foot while playing in your safe space.

I use this to hold my ID badge while at the hospital as a medical student. Simple/professional design and seems sturdy. Price can't be beat, especially if you can get a group together to split the cost and share the 10 holders.

Surprisingly well made. I have a tendency to destroy or brake most things that I take to work as I do work outside in a physical job, but these have held up and by these I mean the same one I've been using daily for 4 months. And I do often grab my badge and stretch it away from my body when my anxiety is high, a practice other badge feels have not withstood. Some of past badge holders have lasted a single day to only a few weeks.

Once they installed the swipe access in our office, I knew this was a necessity. Some almost cost the same price for one as I got 10 for. I've been using it five days a week for many months and it has held up. No issues whatsoever. I've grown so confident in their quality that I gave eight of them away as small gifts to co-workers and only saved one spare for myself because I don't think I'll need them all before I retire in a few decades :-)

I bought the 10 pack a week ago and have already broken 5 just from casual use. 2 broke on me in one day!! BUT, if you never actually have to use the retractable part of the badge holder, then one will last you a lifetime. However, the moment you pull your badge away from your belt, the front face of the holder will pop of and fly across the room. I would almost say these need to be sold as gag gifts!
