Great water timer, easy to use!
This is my 1st water timer because I need to constantly watering my new seeded lawn. Few features attracts me like wifi control, simple to use and easy auto water program. There is also rain delay function to save you water, and intermediate water to pause temporary and water again. I tested this for a few weeks now and all functions well. It's a good smart device for my lawn for sure and my new lawn looks great. I am happy with the purchase.

Good, EXCEPT it has a critical design flaw that risks flooding and water-related property damage
=================================2 MONTHS IN, UPDATE=================================The spigot connection on both of my units have cracked. On the first, the connection broke spontaneously, and it flooded my front yard because I was not outside when it happened. On the second, I was trying to use a hose connection between my spigot and the timer, and the same area broke upon screwing a hose into the connection site.I loved the unit otherwise, but now these units are unusable (and I'm past my 30 day Amazon return window). I won't be buying them again, since this seems like an inherent design flaw that affects a critical part of the device's operation. INNOKEY would do much better to buy a simple metal connector piece, instead of this cheap plastic connector piece. It's not worthwhile to have this unit out there if it floods your yard, cause significant water damage, and cost lots of money in water costs. I'm just glad this didn't happen when I was away on vacation.=================================BELOW IS MY PREVIOUS REVIEW================================="Love it!! Can run sprinkler system on a timer and manage it from my Android phoneThis smart water timer does exactly what I want it to do. You DO need a 2.4 GHz wifi for optimal remote operation, but once you have it set up, you can easily plug in the wifi connector and fully control and manage the timer from your smartphone.I especially like how I can fine-tune my individual sprinklers by manually controlling the flow of water to my sprinkler system. This lets me turn on the water, run tests in an individual area, turn off the water, and move to the next sprayer, etc. etc., and not have to inundate my entire yard.It just works. I bought two: one for my front yard, and one for the backyard. It was easy to manage them each from the same app, and to give them unique names."

Easy to install and set up
I needed a timer on two fruit trees that were separate from the main automated sprinkler system. This worked absolutely perfectly for my needs. This is very easy to set up and can fasten directly to an outside faucet. The app makes it easy to schedule runs on various days/times as well as manually open the valve. This is a bargain for the price considering it has an app for setup. This replaced a manual one I had been using that ended up getting water inside and died. This appears to be much more water tight and is much easier to use than the manual one I had before. Very happy with the product thus far.

Great Product, used it to water my Garden while on vacation!
I originally purchased this product to schedule and control the watering of my garden while I was out of town for a week. The setup was straightforward and worked just as planned while I was gone. The programming even adapted to the weather and did not run on those days when it rained. It was such a good product, I bought one for my brother-in-law. I now keep it on permanently and adjust the watering as needed via the app.

Setup fairly easy. Works for what I need. Wish manual mode didn't use a timer
I really just wanted something that allowed me to manually turn my water on/off from my phone. This does work for that purpose but even in manual mode it uses a timer (10 min by default). I use this with an automatic water leveler in my pool and just want the water to be on all the time unless I need it for something else (shower or washing machine or whatever). I changed the timer default to 24 hrs (max) so I guess that will work for now. I guess I'm not really using this for what it was designed for. I still like the product. It seems pretty solidly made and functions as expected.

Not durable, finicky connections
The attachment to the spigot broke off after 1 season. Was Ok to setup, but was very finicky to connect and change settings. Range was pretty poor for connections. Worked fine after setting up on an automatic schedule, for one season.

Allows control of watering from a Smart Home Setup
I bought this because I wanted to link it to Amazon Echo through the SmartLife skill. From there, I was able to link the on and off functions to SmartThings using a virtual switch and Alexa routines. I paired this with a Spruce Irrigation Zigbee Moisture Sensor in SmartThings, and I can now water the garden automatically when the moisture level drops below my watering setpoint.I found the instructions a bit hard to follow, they offer very little on how to set-up the wifi adapter and connect the water timer to it via bluetooth. You must add the wifi hub as the device in SmartLife, then click into the hub device to add the water timer, which then appears as another device which can be controlled.

Failed after 1 month of use. Seller quickly replaced under warranty
Update to my review . 3rd one worked perfect for a couple months. Same issue . Collar broke and water poured out at full pressure. Luckily my wife was sitting there to turn it off. ....ORIGINAL REVIEW This is the second one I own, the first is Bluetooth but failed in the same manner. Amazon refunded money. I contacted the seller and they replaced it within a few days. . These units work great and I love them, but the hose collar on both has cracked. Once they solve that they are very dependable and user friendly, setting up the hub and timer to app can be a little tricky, but if I figured it out you can too . There is lag time of about a minute when you open the app for all to connect, but no big deal and control is excellent once that happens
