Pretty Good
This looks nice enough for a DIY tv stand. Bottom drawer tracks bent so drawer does not open easily, but overall decent tv stand.

Love the shaker style and warm stain
We bought this to replace an entertainment center for our den. The directions were easy to follow but we wouldn't say it was an easy process. It looks great and love the warmth it brings to the room.Definitely would recommend examining each piece as you unbox it. We found some small chips on the front side of the cabinet which was disappointing. It isn't worth boxing it all up to return. We'll just try to fix the chips ourselves. Be aware. This is the second piece we've ordered from this line and both have had areas with chips it them. For the price it still seems to be a good value maybe. It definitely isn't perfect.

I think they fired their QC team... nice looking, until you look close.
First off, it is not solid pine, the main pieces are laminated (plywood), which is a step up I guess from particle board. However the sides are poorly laminated and peeling off on mine. Many pieces have cracks, some show signs of repair work. Holes are drilled in the wrong places, or in some places not at all! Its a shame, this could be a really nice piece if they took more care in building it.A+ to Amazon though, they made things right after a phone call. A paint stick and some putty will fix up most of the issues and it doesn't end up in a landfill.

The hardware is garbage!!!!
Here is my list of pros and cons:Cons: For over $500, you would expect the quality to be high. A key component of the tv stand is the hardware. And the hardware was GARBAGE!! The kit came with 22 cam locks and OVER HALF OF THEM BROKE! I called customer service to have more parts sent but it took so long, I bought some good cam locks at home depot. Unfortunately the cam locks that come with it had serrated edges that are supposed to dig into the wood as you turn them in to the hole. So the ones I bought at home depot didn't have the serrated edges so they fit a little loose. Not sure how well it will move when the time comes.Pros: The wood was good quality. It had plenty of storage space and is a pretty color. It fit my 82 inch tv which was quite the challenge to find something affordable and sturdy. If it had better quality hardware this would easily be 5 stars across the board! Also, customer service was actually REALLY IMPRESSIVE! I put in a request online the same night I was putting it together (around 930pm) and by 830am the next morning they called me trying to get my replacement parts sent out. There were a lot of delays in the shipping for whatever reason which is why I ended up going to home depot. But every time there was a delay, the same customers service agent that called me originally personally emailed me to update me on the status. If you're buying for quality, get better hardware at your local home improvement store. Aside from that it was great.

Poor craftsmanship for the price
Looks nice, took a while to assemble. Solid wood for the most part, but not high end. For the price I would expect a better design and better hardware.

Good value for the money
The item arrived with a small scratch from shipping. But after put together you can't notice it. Other than that we are happy with the item .it was worth the purchase.

It looks good but needs some vast directions improvement.
First, this is fairly decent wood and material. There were some minor imperfections in the finish but I expected that with the "distressed" finish. The directions were OK but could use some improvement in identifying which is front, back, etc. Some pieces were marked left and right; but front and back would also be very helpful as I'll mention later. And packaging was really good; we didn't have any damage to any of the four pieces we purchased. From other reviews I read, I think we got lucky there. Now, on to the OK and some not so good stuff. My husband and I are pretty good at working together, following directions, and assembling things which need assembling. We purchased four pieces from Simpli Home. The first, an end table, went together like a breeze. Next, the coffee table was fairly simple but with two mishaps: we had a divider piece turned around, and the hardware provided was for a chest of drawers and not a coffee table. We were able to purchase the needed wooden dowels from a local hardware store and use most of the other provided hardware. Unfortunately, the knobs were incorrect so I'm waiting for their customer service to get back to me. Third came the storage cabinet which my husband assembled all by himself with no problems. Finally, this beast of an entertainment center. After hours of assembly by two fairly qualified persons, we have one jacked-up piece of furniture. We had to un-assemble it to turn around the middle section when we realized two pieces were backwards. After reassembly and putting the hardware on, we then realized the end sides were also facing the wrong way so the front doors on the ends can't be mounted; the hinges won't fit. Finally, the directions aren't clear which way the bottom shelf of the flip-down section needs to be mounted; it looks like the side with the beveled out indentation for the hinges goes face up; but when we tried to mount the flip-up door, it's way out of alignment. We're not going to bother taking the whole thing apart just to turn around the two end pieces so we're going to leave the ends open; we'll make it work. We're also going to take off the flip-down door and leave that open, too. So, bonus, we can use the knobs from these unusable pieces and mount them on the coffee table. If you're interested in any of the furniture from this company and aren't fully versed in assembly, I recommend you find the extra $$ and opt for the pre-assembly option.

Quality Piece
Quality piece, very heavy and solid. Looks nice. I'd have given it 5 stars but it came with a huge crack in the top because it was overtightened before shipment. Hopefully a one off issue and ill be trying to reach out to the company for a replacement piece.

Cheap wood, over priced, only looks good
Wood is from pine, really soft, dents and warps easily. Fittings sometimes do not come together well as the wood splits and cracks. Particle board furniture from IKEA is stronger than the cheap wood they used in making this product, which is really over priced. I am pretty handy, and it took me a good 6 hours to put it together. I do not think I will buy any more Simpli Home products.
