TracRac 21000 series base rails are anodized aluminum rails that when combined with a TracRac 43000 series overhead rack (sold separately), complete the TracRac SR sliding pickup truck bed rack system. The TracRac SR system is modular in design, allowing users to customize the hauling ability of their vehicles for work and recreational applications, and features installation that does not require the drilling of holes in truck rails or truck beds. The base rails are available in a variety of lengths designed for specific vehicle models and bed rail configurations.

Easy to install, great rack system
Overall the rack system is amazingly useful and helpful. I just don't feel great about the rubber washer mechanism and how tight to make it. They keep loosening up on me. I should have used Loctite or something. The end screws have stripped on me even though I am careful. The sliding aspect gets rougher over time.

Very well built. Strong connection through the bed rail holes. I can confirm that these rails will fit on a 2014 Ram 1500 short bed WITH a Back Flip bed cover.

Rippes metal top of stake pocket
Will damage your truck bed as rails are straight and truck bed has an arch. Ripped metal at stake pocket on both sides.
