We just lost two volleyballs (one that "disappeared" at the beach and one that has developed a leak), so it was time to get a new one. We and our friends typically play with the King of the Beach ball that used to be made by Spalding, now from Mikasa, but figured it was worth giving this one a try. So far I am very impressed. It is a good looking ball that has a nice feel to it - a soft surface with good grip that is enjoyable to play with. I prefer it over the official AVP ball.It has not yet gotten wet, so I cannot comment on how it handles that. As I live in Florida, it is only a matter of time before it does, whether from rain or wet sand/grass. It is also too soon to comment on durability. I will update this review if there are any negatives to report on either of those.The small pump that comes with it is a nice bonus. The needle is concealed within the pump handle so it won't get damaged or easily lost, and the size (less than half the size of my regular pumps) makes it handy for packing. This is a definite plus as we like to take a volleyball with us whenever we travel.

The volleyball feels good and looks good. Probably better than the Wilson AVP OPTX. BUT the product I received stopped retaining air about a week ago. I've been pumping air to it this past week until I've had enough and decided to return it. I haven't used it on actual sand volleyball games and I've only practiced by tossing it in my apartment for the past few days. Hopefully, the replacement arrives on time and doesn't deflate over time. Until then, this product is only a 2-star for me....

Full disclosure: I am not a professional volleyball player, but I enjoy the sport with my friends and family. A local park near me has a net with a bring-your-own-ball situation, so owning a high-quality volleyball is a quick way to unlock 2-3 hours of outdoors fun.With that said, the texture, bounce, and overall 'feel' of the ball seem quite in line with what you'd expect when you pick up a volleyball. Importantly, this is a volleyball, not a soccer ball or basketball - if you're going to be kicking it around or dribbling it then of course all bets are off.The nifty little feature that I really liked is that the needle for the included pump fits very cleanly into a dedicated sleeve in the pump's main body. It's been a while since I last purchased a ball pump and I remember finding the needle in a drawer somewhere was always the main hassle, so this feature is definitely a time saver for the inevitable day you'll want to top off the pressure.

My daughter loves this volleyball. I am a volleyball coach so she has decided that she is supposed to pay like the big girls do (she is only 7). It was easy to air up, and I love that it comes with its own pump. The quality is great too.

While I usually use the standard AVP volleyball, I wanted a backup volleyball that I could keep in my car in case an extra ball was ever needed. This Kerri Walsh volleyball does the job as it's high quality, nicely colored, and comes with a fairly compact pump. There are some wrinkles in the ball before it's first inflated and even stay there after initial inflation but they'll go away in a few days so don't worry about that.

My teen daughter is an indoor volleyball player but likes to play beach volleyball for fun with her friends and teammates. She recently had the chance to try out this ball during her team bonding event on the beach, and she and her teammates really liked it.The microfiber synthetic leather cover is soft and its texture aids in ball control. The stitching is excellent. The included pump with needle works as it should and thanks to its relatively small size it is easy to take it anywhere. The compartment for the needle inside the pump’s handle is also very convenient.My daughter is enjoying this ball a lot and we both recommend it.

Excellent quality volleyball that easy on hands when you bump it. My 9 year old daughter showed an interest in volleyball last year and would borrow the neighbors to practice. She said this volleyball was easy on her hands and doesn’t hurt when she bumps it. I has a nice soft rubber texture to it.The volleyball comes deflated and does include the needle & pump (the needle is inside the pump). The needle does need to be moistened to inflate. The pump is easy to use. The ball stays inflated and no problem with air escaping.
