Q: Is the tripod stand of this lamp stable? Can the brightness meet the needs of photography and video?

The taller tripod is more stable than the mini/desk tripod is. It needs a bit more finagling to sit up properly when having it on the short one as the lamp will fall over. The taller one is more stable, however it’s not very weighted so it could easily get knocked over if you aren’t paying attention. The brightness is good, but for beginner to amateurish levels. It doesn’t seem bright enough for professional photographers

Q: Is there a way to remove the holder in the middle of the light? Some photos and videos show it not being there.
