Do Not Recommend This Unit
I ordered two of these units and began to try assembling them today. I had to stop, since the utterly useless plastic clips that are too small to click into place can't be used currently. You need to use these under every shelf at every corner. They are too small and you can see in the picture they do not even come close to closing and clicking into place.I am going to have to buy some pipe clamps that I will have to attach and tighten with nuts and bolts over these too small clamps to keep them from popping off. Which means an additional expense and a trip to the hardware store bringing the pipe and the too small plastic clip with me.You would think after spending $140 for one of these units, they could include clips that actually work, are sturdy and would not need to be either replaced or supplemented with something else. There is literally no way to assemble this without those clips, and they are pure garbage. Metal things that screw together would be sturdy. Cheap plastic that easily breaks and is too small for the task at hand is absurd. Yes, it will take a lot longer to assemble this with the clamps I will have to get, but it will also be very sturdy. These clips would pop off and likely break if any weight at all was put on the shelf they are supposed to be supporting.Maybe I was sent the wrong sized clips to begin with, I have no idea. The actual pipes and metal shelves are sturdy. The way it's to be assembled is very straightforward and easy to understand. These plastic clips though are an absolute travesty.EDIT: I wrote the above before assembling it. My rating has since gone lower. The instructions, well, simply put there aren't any. There's a brochure with pictures. No list of parts you should have in the box. I had to spend $50 extra dollars on nuts and bolts and cable clamps to put under the ill fitting clips, and I still would not put anything of value or huge weight on this. In theory, it seems fine, but the garbage quality plastic clips and the limited options of what to do to reinforce them from popping off is horrific. There should be metal clamps you screw on, yes it would take a bit more time to assemble, but you'd feel secure that it was not going to fall apart. To add insult to injury, when I bought two of these units a few weeks ago, they were $140 each. Today I see they are literally half that price. A few cents less than $70. I could cry. I not only feel ripped off, the finished product is nothing great. It's wobbly and even with the nutted and bolted on cable clamps I found, I do not trust it to not have the shelves slide down. Buy this at your own risk.

Stick to Chrome - Do Not Purchase White or Other Colours
I'm very disappointed in this purchase. This is the first time I purchased a Honey-Can-Do brand wire shelving unit, and the first time I purchased a non-chrome shelving unit. I previously purchased six other, chrome, wire shelving units from other retailers and had no problems with them.I purchased this unit in particular as I had a odd space to fill and this was the only one available with the correct dimensions. The item was well packaged, but when I started removing the parts from the box, I found that paint had chipped off some of the pole pieces at the junction points (see picture). I also found that a few of the chips had started to rust (see picture). The box showed no evidence of water damage, so I have to assume the rusting started at the factory. The paint also chipped off and scratched very easily as I was assembling it (see picture). Also, the grooves that the shelf support clips fit into are not deep enough. It looks like the paint was put on too thickly, make the grooves shallower than needed. As a result, It was difficult to keep the clips properly seated while place the shelves. I had to resort to using tape (see picture) to keep the clips in place while I placed the shelves. When I took the tape off, chips of paint came off with it.Finally, all of the shelves were slightly twisted, which made it very difficult to put the shelves in place, without forcing the poles one way or the other while lowering the shelves onto the clips. As I said above, I've previously assembled six similar shelving units. Assembling this unit took twice as long.Once assembled, the shelving unit was sturdy enough, but I imagine I'm going to be forever touching up the paint just from daily wear and tear. So, if you do purchase a Honey-Can-Do wire shelving unit, I strongly urge you to purchase only chrome version as the painted versions clearly are disappointing. Also be aware that if you buy an additional shelf to add on to this or another Honey-Can-Do wire shelving unit, purchase the additional Honey-Can-Do brand shelf clips. The clips that came with my additional shelf (which was chrome and from another retailer) do not seat properly on the Honey-Can-Do wire shelving units poles.Given that this was more expensive than other similar units, I find it not very good value for money.

Manufactured entirely wrongly.
What a waste of my time. I got a refund. This product is manufactured entirely wrong. For sure, it was never even tested. Or I got weird miss matxhed parts between two conpletely different shelf units! The black couplings did not fit the circumfrence of the poles. So the couplings just kept poping off. The shelves can nit hooe to secure. The shelf 'holes' which gobaround the poles are way too big! No possibility to secure. It is as if the shelves belong to a completely different set of poles, eslewhere.White rings came with my product. Which were not depicted in the instructions anywhere. Nor, do those wite rings (fasteners) fit over the poles anyway! What is worse. I noticed this oackage seemed to be repackaged and re-sent out to me. As if someone already returned it. Amd the comoany did not care, but to sinoly send it back out to another buyer. Me. The box was oddly 'super glued' shut. It was annoying to open.Customer service told me that he will make sure this does not haopen again. But... I think it will. Because I have read some other reviews regarding the exact same problem as mine. It is ongoing.

Who designed this?
This concept of a study metal shelved rack tower is inherently flawed by the ridiculous concept of each shelf layer being supported by 2 ill fitting plastic clips. These clips fail to grip. Fail to stay together, and fail to give confidence that I would ever put items of value on this stand. I even tried to wrap every plastic pair clip with a zap-strap keeping them together, which it did, but didn't stop this stopper from sliding down being of no use.

SHAKEY SHELF THAT DOESNT BALANCE WELL. CLIPS ARE GARBAGE
The clips are utter garbage. They don't hold as well even you heard the "click" sound when you feel like it holds. The material itself is sturdy however when you put everything together its almost impossible to make it balance. There is always one or two side doesn't algin well, so the whole thing is tilted towards one side every though my floor is flat.Instructions aren't clear as well but you can figure out somehow where the clips should go. The material looks sturdy but when everything is assembled THE SHELF IS SHAKEY. I think this item worth maybe 30 bucks max. Paid 100 bucks for this , totally not worth it
