This was used on an exterior metal surface that was wiped clean with alcohol prior to application. The surface is exposed to rain/snow/sun all year. No fading, no loss of letter markings, no peeling off, no issues at all.

This is my 2nd label maker that I use in my craft room. I use it for photo books. Labeling my shelves, my books & anything else I can think of. Would buy again

Liked it! It seems to be a more flexible softer plastic tape than the clear, thus good adhesion to stick down into micro scratches. Also seemed easier to peal off the backing. I wish the same formula came in other colors. I will probably buy this again to use for general use, but go back to clear and white when it really matters.

I use my Dymo to label both short term and long term storage. They stay on, hot or cold, and are easily removed. The print quality depends on your labeler.
