Excellent and updated
We used the heck out of this book for our week in Vancouver. It was recently updated and was a great resource!

great guide, weird maps
One of the most important maps, neighborhood overview, it seems the right half wasn't printed. Half the neighborhoods keyed in the text aren't shown and there's a big white space at the bottom.

Not much Victoria
I'm sure this is a great book if you're going to Vancouver, but despite the title, it has almost nothing about Victoria. I was hoping for more as that's our primary destination.

Not very detailed about Vancouver Island
I like the Vancouver city guide but the part related to Vancouver Island is lacking some fundamental parts.I had to buy another guide.

Vancouver and Victoria, now with 100% more Lonely Planet!
I recently took a trip to Vancouver and Victoria, and I have to say, Lonely Planet's travel guide was my trusty companion throughout the journey. It's like having a knowledgeable and hilarious travel buddy by your side at all times. The guide is packed with useful tips and recommendations, but what really sets it apart is the humor. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the descriptions and quips in the book. For example, the guide describes Granville Island as "a whimsical oasis of art and culture, with a dash of grit thrown in for good measure." I mean, who wouldn't want to visit a place like that? One of my favorite parts of the guide was the section on food and drink. The writers clearly know their stuff, and their enthusiasm for local cuisine is infectious. I tried some of the recommended spots, and was not disappointed. In fact, I may have gained a few pounds during my trip, but it was totally worth it.The guide also includes helpful maps and suggested itineraries, which made planning my days a breeze. And the photos are stunning - I felt like I was flipping through a glossy travel magazine.Overall, I would highly recommend Lonely Planet's Vancouver & Victoria travel guide to anyone planning a trip to the area. It's informative, funny, and just the right amount of quirky. Plus, it's a great conversation starter with fellow travelers. Just don't be surprised if you find yourself reading passages aloud to strangers on the bus - it's that entertaining.

Utilissima
Acquistata in occasione del mio viaggio nell’ovest, mi è stata molto utile per orientarmi in città. Interessanti gli itinerari a piedi.

Contains everything that you need to know!
This guide is very easy to read ,factual and up-to -date .This is my 5th visit to Vancouver within the past 20 years and I required some guide information. It’s easy to print information from the internet but personally,I like to have a guide in my bookshelves ,as a point of reference.I also like to loan my guides to family and friend for their travels.
