Q: Does this have a strong odor? I am housebound with ME/CFS and sensitive to chemicals. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

While it is recommended to always wear gloves and eye protection when handling to components of this kit, there is not a particularly strong smell from either the Iron Surfacer or the Rust Antiquing Solution. They have a faint chemical odor, but the Masterial Safety Data Sheets state there is no hazard from inhalation in standard use. That said, for someone sensitive to chemicals, a respirator and/or good ventilation would be strongly recommended in order to work safety with these products, especially with a spray application. On each bottle there is a warning that repeated exposure by means of inhalation can possibly lead to liver and kidney damage.

Q: Will this product work on Galvanized metal?

I didn't find this product to work on anything unfortunately.. :(

Q: Does this kit come with the oxidizer spray?

It comes with oxydizing solution that you brush on.

Q: Can you apply clear coat on top?

Glossy clear is hard to use on anything of size. Several manufacturers sell clear in a flat or semi-flat spray which are very forgiving. Don't buy cheap!
