Don't buy this. This is the 2003 edition. The updated Third edition (and one that will be relevant for a long while) for the US was confirmed in 2010 (currently a 2011 copyright). Much of the Instruction is the same. But of course, the parts that needed clarification were, naturally, the parts that changed, along with the few entries that involve the new translation.Basically, there is no point in buying this version. You probably just clicked on it because it was cheaper than the search result that was just above this one...like i did...

Every Catholic should own a copy!

Great size to bring g to class at the church.

This is the 2003 version. Current version is 2011. This does not include important changes such as GIRM 160 which now explicitly permits receipt of Communion while kneeling without admonition or instructing the priest to provide “proper cathechesis” as to the norm of standing while receiving.

A must to understanding the nuances of the mass and fills the gaps in when the Rubrix is not enough.
