Q: If this will work for 2004 Toyota Tacoma?

I installed the M1 in my 2004 Tacoma Extracab. I made all connections inside the left rear taillight assembly. The cable was long enough to run into the cab. It is rather difficult to run the cable under the bed and into the cab - this requires patience, long skinny arms and a flashlight, and cable ties. I got the cable into the cab through an existing rubber grommet that already had cables penetrating into the cab.

Q: if the camera really waterproof? since most people say that their cameras are waterproof but when you scroll down to the reviews they claim it is not

Its suppose to be waterproof. It has rained pretty hard several times since I have had this camera and I have not experienced any issues with it. The picture on the screen is very clear and I am happy with it.

Q: What powers the monitor?

The monitor is powered by the reverse lights in the taillight. This is one reason why the install is so simple; you only have to make one connection. I am disappointed that the seller gave an incorrect answer to this question. They don't really know about their own product, or something is lost in translation. YOU CANNOT POWER THE MONITOR IN THIS KIT FROM THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER.

Q: How can I install this indoors for use as a choir director camera for the pianist?

Hello, this product is designed for reversing, I am not sure if it can be used as a choir derector camera for the pianist.
