This KAM Snap Press Plier set is just what I was looking for. It works great, as I can easily put the snaps into the fabric. It is so easy that I actually crush the first button from pressing too hard! It does not come with printed instructions, but there is a sticker on the back for online instructions.

This purchase has saved me so much money!I bought these pliers to convert aplix diapers that had lost their "stickiness" to snaps. Replacing all those diapers would have been VERY expensive! They worked wonderfully! I have also found quite a few other uses for snaps since buying them, like I used them to attach my son's tail to his Halloween costume and it held up through all his Halloween fun.They did take a little trial and error so don't be discouraged if they aren't perfect the first time. If the snaps are not lined up very well in the pliers it squishes the middle of the snap over which makes them not snap as well (or at all) but I'm sure this is an issue with all snap pliers and is more of a user error. I found that one die (is that the right term? the top metal part with the rubber white thing around it) works better for male snaps while another die works better for female snaps. I don't know if that's the way they are supposed to work or if it's just me. If you have trouble with getting the to snap well, try pressing the female snap with the bigger die.There were a lot of reviews complaining about not getting the awl with the pliers. Mine came with an awl taped to the front of the package so no issues!

This is a great little tool!!! I bought a container of multi colored KAM Snaps at a local thrift store but the pliers weren't included, so I ordered this one and it does the job! It's easy to use and you can create so many things that need a snap. I love it and would order it again.

I ordered some can snaps thinking I could use my arbor press to set them but it was too much pressure. So I ordered this hand press. It works perfectly and my grip strength isn’t great. Also I have tiny hands and these weren’t too big for me. Perfect for hobby use. I would get tired of squeezing this if I had 100 snaps to install. :)

My needs for this KAM Snap Press Plier Hand Setter Tool are few. I only want to use it to insert snaps into home-made kotex pads. I have daughters and if I can save some money and a small piece of the environment by making re-usable kotex pads, then I will. I have made 3 pads so far and the pliers and tabs are simply wonderful. I make the pads with wings long enough to wrap around the crotch of the underwear and then they snap together to stay in place. The snaps are secure and take a good tug to get them to unsnap.I am giving this tool 4 stars instead of 5 simply because no instructions were included in how to use it. l watched a couple of Youtube videos and learned how from them. If I didn't have access to the videos I don't know if I could have figured it out or not.....probably, but I most likely would have gone through several sets of ruined snaps. Since I don't plan on using the snap press pliers a whole lot, I don't mind having to squeeze them hard to insert the snaps through the material. It's not like you have to gorilla squeeze it. The inclusion of good instructions is really needed for this tool.

I bought this because I bought a hand press machine (KST-02) to put in snaps and grommets. Well the machine put in the grommets nicely and I'm really happy with it, but I could not get the machine to attach the snaps. Disappointing because I thought I would be able to "kill two (or more) birds with one stone". For this review, however, this set of pliers is the best!! I have been making baby clothes and it is so easy to attach snaps that I even put them on instead of buttons. I'm in love!

I bought these pliers to replace by Babyville snap pliers when they broke. These pliers definitely feel more sturdy than the Babyville ones, and I enjoy using them more. However, they didn't arrive with an important part! The white handled tool that is used to poke holes in the fabric was missing. Because I still had the hole poker from my Babyville set, it wasn't a problem for me, but this would be a major annoyance for someone without one. A large tapestry needle could be used, but I imagine if you're making a lot of diapers that would be a problem. You might want to consider purchasing this from another seller.

Love this. It works so well on the snaps. Comes with accessories too. Easy to use.

This works well and is a genuine KAM brand set. The fake ones are not stamped KAM and don't work so well... Beware of fakes!
