Difficult to maneuver. Blade breaks too often to make this a good item for the money and ease of use. Wish it worked better :(

The coping saw received is as described. The diamond wire is very thin and should work well for fine detailed work. As noted in the product details, care should be given to not put too much force or stress on the diamond wire and instead let the diamonds do the work of cutting. The coping saw frame is basic and appears to be a decent quality, although I've seen higher quality coping saws.

Coping saw was just as described. did not receive the Diamond Wire saw. Bummer I was so looking forward to using this. Is it worth returning? or just go buy a blade.....

This coping saw when set up with the diamond blade can be used for both metal and ceramics. You can use a standard wood coping saw blade clamped in the metal clamps, rather than the diamond blade and then use the saw for fine wood-working cuts as well. This is a quality product offered at a very fair price.

I took off 1 star due to the wire being a larger diameter (.50mm as shown) than advertised and the wire had been kinked. Otherwise, when used with the .17mm diamond wire saw also listed on Amazon, this thing slices thru plastic like a hot wire thru butter.
