Bought this for my Granddaughter who had a great first grade and is finishing it soon. She has indicated, more than once, her desire to have a ukulele. So I bought it, opened it up to tune it and check it out. It’s not bad for the price. Once the strings are stretched properly it should hold a tuning and make some music. It sounds like it has a good tone and the neck and frets are solid so I give it a go. Especially for a beginner. The light blue color is great.

I bought it for an elementary school fund raiser as one of the raffle prizes everyone who came bought a ticket to try and win it. The sound was amazing so everyone was excited about it.

I got these as a gift for my neices. As an avid musician i wanted to test them out and break in the strings so they would stay in tune before Christmas. As expected the nylon strings took forever to hold a tune, but once stretched they stayed in tune. As an adult and musician I had a lot of fun playing. I played several chords and the intonation was good. I was actually surprised by the ring the body gave the notes. As an adult it was hard to fit my fingers on the fretboard for some notes, but thats to be expected for a soprano ukulele. These are a great option for a first time ukulele, or first instrument. Especially for the price.

Quality and sounds good. You can tune with YouTube videos. Keep the strings tight. Kids love to mess with the levers, so let them know not to touch when/if they try, otherwise it will be out of tune.

I bought the book for my grandson's Chistmas gift. He is satisfied with the book.

Bought this as a Beginner instrument for my 8 yr old.You have to tune it often. More than usual per my husby that actually plays the ukelele.But when it's tuned, the sound is great.

This is for a kindergartener who wants to learn the ukulele. I think it will work just fine.
