Westinghouse 6661100 Standard Ceiling Fixture, Two Light White

This replaced a light that's been in the house for over 25 years. The roofer managed to throw down shingles that the light broke. The local big box stores only of LED lights which when you read the box, only last maybe 5-10 years. Yes, I will replace the light bulbs -- but so what -- that only happens maybe once a year. This replaced the old light perfectly. I may buy a couple more to keep on hand for other lights that may go out.

Shipped in manufacturer packaging, which securely held everything in place. Installation is easy if replacing an existing fixture. The bracket fits a standard junction box, which makes it simple. Note: Finger tight on the glass cover screws! Leave a little room for movement and thermal expansion.

I ordered three of these in July 2014. These are very plain, low-cost, imported light fixtures, but they work well. The cover is made of white glass. The fixtures take two bulbs up to a maximum power of 60W. Compact fluorescent lamps will also fit, but the cover is pretty small, so some of the larger-sized CFLs (23 W or 26 W) may not fit unless they are a "space-saving" design.Each socket has its own pair of wires so you may switch them separately, but almost everybody will tie them together to be controlled by one switch. In the the three that I purchased, one did not include enough wire nuts, but the other two came with extras. Depending on your luck, you may need to purchase some orange wire nuts at a hardware store to complete installation.
