The Rack is Beautiful.
The Rack looks Great! A couple of pointers before you start.1. The Rack will come package very well. You will have some masonite board inside. Don't throw away as this will provide A great surface to use when hammering the joints together. Remember the wood can be dented if you go crazy with a hammer. You can also use a block of wood or a rubber mallet.2. Get a buddy to help out. This will take 2 people about 2 hours to put together.3. Assembly is easy but slow down. There are upper and lower rack arms. The last thing you want is to have to back out a joint after glueing and screwing it down.4. A drill will be great. You may also want a sledge, rubber mallet, hammer and knife (for packaging).5. Take a break and work in the shade.Overall, this rack was very easy to put together. Just be carefully not to dent your rack when hammering the joints in. I'll be providing an updated review as weather and time have its turn. Until then I'll enjoy it's great look.

terrific product
The 4-place Log Kayak Rack is a terrific product. The 2 boxes include nearly everything one needs to do the assembly. Two people were able to assemble it in about 2 hours, using a power drill and 4 pound mallet. Before purchasing, I had priced out the cost of the fence posts and tools that would be necessary to build my own, and this rack was only about $150 more than it would have cost me to buy the raw materials. It would have been considerably more effort to build my own, as opposed to simply following the instructions to assemble the pre-cut, pre-drilled logs. It is a quality product and looks great fully loaded with 4 canoes. I have already recommended this rack to several neighbors.

Great purchase
The stand was shipped and arrived within a week of ordering it. There's a video on log kayak's website that teaches you how to assemble their products, I recommend watching the 8 minute video as it is super helpful. Overall it took 1.5 hours to assemble with one man doing the majority of the work and one other person holding things upright. Definitely have a drill handy and a rubber mallet. Overall the kayak stand is as described and looks fantastic. It does wobble a bit and doesn't fit 100% tight together but overall it's an awesome buy and we got to ditch the unsturdy standle up metal rack we had.

Expensive but really nice
Ok. I hated spending this much to hold my Kayaks but I'm tired of all the leaves and debri in my Kayak. And the spot they leave on the lawn. This rack is very handsome and easily holds my Kayaks.

Terrible Craftsmanship—7 Hour Assembly
Terrible craftsmanship, vague instructions, colors not as depicted. Really disappointed. I would regard myself as moderately handy and this took me 7 hours to put together and still looks bad. I ended up having to sand inside of every hole so posts would fit. Several still didn't fit all the way. Save your money and make your own.

Gorgeous.
Instructions are excellent, extra screws included along with Liquid Nails. Every piece was marked clearly. I was able to build it in an a couple of hours by myself but needed another person toward the end. It's solid in design and vert sturdy. .

Great looking and solid built canoe/kayak rack!
This product is solid. The item arrived earlier than expected in two boxes. The assembly instructions were easy to understand. Assembly hardware and torque/star drill bits were included. The 4 canoe rack took two of us under one hour to assemble. The item looks great and works well. A great investment.

sturdy
Some work to assemble but worth it three hours with two people. Tight fits in holes, very nice.
