Perfect for our cruise!
We just got back from a 7-day Caribbean cruise. I purchased three sets in different colors (Teal, Black, and Purple) for 1 adult (has snorkeled before) and 2 young teens (never snorkeled). They fit in our carry-on luggage perfectly. The cruise ship offered gear rentals $$ at some of the islands but by having our own we were able to snorkel at all islands for just around the cost of rentals at one and now we have our own gear. Totally worth it.It took us a little while to figure a few things out to get them to fit correctly and we learned some things we wish we had known before using them for the first time. Hopefully this will help others:BEFORE USINGPretreat your mask. This ad said the tempered glass was 'anti-fog' but everything I have since learned about snorkel masks is that they come with a silicone coating on it left over from the manufacturing process and this WILL cause the mask to fog. This film needs to be removed BEFORE first use. Apply a dime size amount of non-abrasive non-gel toothpaste to the dry masks with a toothbrush and gently scrub. Rinse with hot water. Dry. Some things I read said avoid hot water as it will cause the mask skirt (lining) to degrade over time but I used hot this one time to remove that film. Use warm soapy water to clean them going forward. I read mixed things about people using fire from a lighter to remove that silicone film but if done incorrectly that could ruin your mask.To keep the masks from fogging you can apply a few drops of baby shampoo (straight or diluted) and swish or rub around on the glass with a soft cloth, rinse in fresh or salt water, dry. Avoid touching the glass with your fingers. To check the fit, pull the strap in front of the mask and put the mask (snorkel removed) up to your face and suck in through your nose. The mask should stay sealed on your face without falling off. If you aren't able to keep it held to your face by suction alone it isn't sealing. Try moving it's position around your face up or down to get a seal. If nothing works then it doesn't fit your face.USINGMy teens struggled with water leaking into their masks the first time we went out. After checking and adjusting a few things we figured out how to wear them without them leaking. 1. Make sure hair is out of the way when putting the mask on or it won't get a good seal. 2. If it is leaking it may not be on tight enough. 3. If it is 'digging into the bridge of your nose'-tight and still leaks it may be set too high up on your forehead, try lowering it some. After adjusting these three things we eliminated the leaking-masks problem completely.Fogging- We did not know about pretreating our masks so fogging was an issue. We spit in them and that helped but we had to repeat it periodically. We also have since learned that you shouldn't touch your glass lens with your fingers. Dirty masks and oil from fingers on the glass contribute to fogging. So if you pretreated your mask and added baby shampoo or other anti-fog, it shouldn't be a problem. Other things we learned to help prevent fogging. It is best to put a DRY mask on a DRY face and keep it on. Taking it on and off adds moisture into the mask that combined with your body temperature creates fog.AFTER USINGWash the fins and snorkels in warm soapy water, rinse, and then dry. Put the inserts that come with the fins back in for storage to help keep the shape and, from what I have read, help prevent cracking from folding. Wash the mask out with warm soapy water, rinse, dry, if not clear and clean apply toothpaste and gently scrub. The reapply baby shampoo with a soft cloth and store the set in a cool, dry place and out of sunlight.Edit- forgot to cover the snorkels and fins:Snorkels were great. Comfortable in the mouth, the float that closes when you go underwater worked great. The kids had not trouble with them. The one way valve on the bottom for forcefully blowing out any water that does get into the snorkel (like splashing from waves) was very effective.Fins - These were perfect for us. They were comfortable to use and made swimming around much easier than not having fins. I read a few things before buying as I wasn't sure if shorter fins were better or worse for beginners. Things I found were that shorter fins are easier to push through the water and are fast. More traditional long dive fins are harder to push through the water but move you farther. So those long ones can be tiring if you haven't built up the strength for long fins. So for us, short fins were ideal!Final thoughts: Absolutely worth it. We loved snorkeling and can't wait to take these sets out again!

Perfect travel size
These are inexpensive mask, fins and snorkel. They are not your high end scubs gear, but they work great. I've read reviews where they broke right away. While not cheaply made I suggest being gentle on them. Take your time putting them on amd taking them off and this will ensure durability. Used them twice in 2024 on sailing trips in Greece and they didn't let me down.

Works perfectly!
I bought this so I could go snorkeling in the Bahamas. The mask fit well on my face and I didn't often have an issue of water coming in. Breathing was easy with the snorkel, and I loved that it has a feature to prevent water coming down the tube when you go deep under. The fins were easily adjustable and I liked the removeable straps - made it easy to take off and on.They run true to size. I am usually a women's 6/7, and I got the small/medium. The material is good plastic. It held up after 2 weeks of straight snorkeling, and I wasn't gentle with the gear either. Good pricepoint, and I'd highly recommend.Only issue: the plastic on the snorkel pulled at my hair, so I would buy one of the cloth snorkel mask backs if I were you.

Worked great!
I purchased two of these sets for a cruise to the Bahamas with my husband! They were easy to pack in our suitcase and convenient to carry to and from the ship. The goggles and fins worked great, and although we didn't use the snorkel much, it worked well when we did. Having our own set was a lifesaver since the weather caused the rental shop to close—those without their own gear were out of luck!I ordered the small size for myself (I wear a women’s size 6), and I had to strap them tightly to keep them secure. My husband used the M/L size for his men’s size 10.5 feet and had no issues. It was nice having our own gear, so we didn’t have to worry about rental cleanliness. These are an affordable and practical option!

You are a casual, traveling snoreler...WINNING!
Listen...you cannot beat this set for the casual, traveling snorkeler! BUY IT! Sure you can find a way to complain about anything...as some reviewers have...but this set is fantastic...full stop! Value, overall quality, portability and fun color choices (wife matched her vacation wardrobe capsule...again...winning!) ...what more can you ask for??? If you are a seasoned snorkeler/diver you may have different needs, but this gear fits easily in my suitcase, beach bag and more importantly works great...that's fun x 3!

Great set for our trip down south!
Bought these for our trip to Mexico in January and they were perfect! We snorkelled several days and they are still in perfect condition. I’m a size 7/7.5 and while the fins seemed huge at first you can tighten them really well so they did fit great. My mask fogged up a lot on first use BUT THIS IS NORMAL: with any mask you have to remove the film that comes on it. My boyfriend used toothpaste, with mine my friend had to take a lighter to it to burn off the film (google it; the pros will tell you this is how it’s done). Both sets worked perfectly the rest of the trip after we did this. Ignore any reviews that complain about the fog, they clearly didn’t know to do the above. As for the tube, loved that it has the feature to keep water out. I kept putting mine in at an awkward angle and it would sometimes block my air but it was my fault, so practice before you get out too deep. One thing I will say, I would order these in advance of a trip with lots of time to check them and make sure they work and are in good shape; I checked ours out thoroughly and they were fine. We met people on vacation with the exact same brand/set who realized down there that a piece was broken or missing and it was too late.

Fin-tastic Adventures Await: CAPAS Snorkel Mask Fins Set Takes the Plunge
Diving into the underwater world with the CAPAS Snorkel Mask Fins Set was like stepping into an aquatic wonderland equipped with the coolest underwater accessories! This kit is the real MVP of snorkeling gear – not only is it exceptionally well-made, but it's also practically airtight. Not a drop of water dared to sneak in, leaving me free to channel my inner mermaid without any unwelcome surprises. I took this aquatic superhero on a test run in Mexico, and let me tell you, it transformed my snorkeling experience into an underwater fiesta. The mask provided crystal-clear views of vibrant marine life, while the fins turned me into the Michael Phelps of snorkeling (minus the speed records). Highly recommend this set for anyone ready to make a splash in the snorkeling scene – it's the ultimate sidekick for underwater escapades!
