I just installed the cameras and got the system up and running. So far it seems to be working fine.The two issues I'm having is in the software.1. It won't load weather data. It just keeps telling me to refresh.2. Some of the pics I load for the screensaver doesn't fit on the screen,and there is no where in the manual that specifies the maximum photo size. There is also no reference in the manual about the weather feature.I called there tech support, and it was like talking through two tin cans and a string. I tried twice, and both reps sounded the same way. I could onlIy understand about half of what they were saying. It was pure anquish just to get them my name and email. I finaly got frustrated to the point, that I just hung up.The support on there web site isn't any better. There is absolutly no reference to the two issues i'm having any where on there support page.My opinion of the cameras and home center so far are positive. It's a nice touch screen, and the cameras seem to be working great. It was relatively simple to setupBut if you need any tech support, better have more patients then I had..

Battery runs out fast. Doesn’t really recorded when needs to. Doesn’t detect when real motion. We drive onto driveway no recording or detection. Very frustrating thought it would be a great security system for the price but not as effective as it claims.

This is a great system with a phone app for free, with no monthly subscription! Very clear video, you can monitor while away with the phone app. Has add-on stuff if you want to expand.

I have had a Lorex in the past 6 years and liked it, so this was a replacement. Bad choice. Cannot connect to the internet. The Center will not stay on/lite even though I have the screen saver OFF. The camera is a clear shot from the Center about 100' and I get a regular (every other day) OUT OF ..... ALSO the Center keeps stating "I am sorry I do not know how to do that" . Just out of the blue. I have not asked for anything. But the deal breaker is CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have email several times, asking for some technical suggestions to my issues. AND NO ONE HAS EVEN RETURNED ONE SINGLE EMAIL OR CALL. However, the camera picture quality is great and the projection of the distances of the area the camera reveals is excellent. Hard to believe the camera eye is able to see that far and that much on all sides.

I like how it can be wireless or wired

Small and needs constant power supply slow to load video and not continuous video feed cuts off after 10 seconds then need to reload lorex is trash

Only one of the two cameras would record when motion occurred. The biggest problem was that the monitor goes into sleep mode after a few minutes with no way to keep it from doing so. I have an older model that I can leave on the fireplace mantel and see any one walking near the house before they get to the door. The older model doesnt record any longer, this being the reason to get a new one. I did notice harbor freight has a similar model with a different brand name, and it is a spitting image of the my original model.

Crashes - night time detection DOES NOT WORK - crashes and requires the battery being pulled - downloading recordings is NOT a thing apparently.. Lol.Just say no even with the low price. They do not support the camera (last update was 08-2021).Shills abound!

I liked everything about it and it was easy to setup it works great and i use it for home security and the price was good just under 400.00 but it was well worth it.
