The pump worked great so far. It's a replacement for a similar pump in our Tiffin Allegro RV. It is used WITHOUT accumulator, because it has an internal bypass and pressure control. I can't speak to the longtime performance, but it definitely works as specified. Very easy to hook up. They provide 3/8 in barbs and 1/2 in MPT connections. And it's quiet. I definitely recommend the pump and would buy it again. As to the seller and the shipping..... I ordered this on Saturday, got it two days later on Monday, I'd call that unbelievable service and shipping. I wish all sellers were that good.

Replaced the pump I let freeze over the winter with this item, worked perfect!

It takes less than 1/2 hour to replace my prior Flojet water pump with this one. They were the same models. The old one lasted about 10 years. It had trouble priming and would lose suction. It could have been a water line issue but there were no leaks and replacement with a new pump solved the problem.To replace it will require a few common tools: flashlight, electric screw driver with a medium square bit and extension, a regular screw driver, wire stripper and a bucket. You might need to remove items around the old pump to get access. I was able to sit in front of the pump in its compartment. Turn off the pump, open a faucet and disconnect its wiring. Pry up the clips on the sides of the pump and let the water drain into the bucket. Unscrew the pump brackets and remove the pump. Mark it used so that you won't accidentally reinstall it! Next, you just reverse the process. Make sure that the clips are all the way down. If you have the particulate filter on the input side of the pump head,you will need to use the screw driver to click it all the way down. I needed to remove some of the wire insulation on the new pump to get it adequately into the wire nuts. Turn the pump back on and check for leaks. There are detailed instructions in the box.You can buy replacement parts for the old pump and probably repair it assuming the motor is still working. Although there is a trouble-shooting guide in the instructions, getting the replacement parts at 1/2 the cost of a new pump might not be worth it.This Flojet water pump is high quality. I installed it about 10 years ago when the original pump started to function intermittently. When I installed pump #2, I found that #1 had a loose connection and I was suspicious that it was the cause of its intermittency. I kept #2 and installed it anyway (why take a chance?). When pump #2 recently failed and while waiting for this new one, #3, to arrive, I reinstalled #1. It was 18 years old! It actually seemed to work okay. So, these pumps tend to last a very long time. But it's always good to be prepared, so if something should happen to #3, I still have #1 as a backup.

On a recent camping trip, the pressure sensor failed on our RV water pump--causing the pump to run continuously whenever the pump switch was turned on . I noted the model and serial number of our old Flojet pump and began a internet search to check out our options.I could buy a replacement sensor for roughly $45 and install it on our current pump or replace the whole pump (sensor included) for Amazon's price of $95. I figured the pump was as old as the sensor so I elected to replace the unit as a whole.The only issue I came up against was the input/output fittings supplied with the new pump--they were 'straight' (as seen in the picture on Amazon) and I need two that had a 90º bend in them to make the install a simple remove/replace affair. Fortunately, I was able to remove the 90º fittings from the old pump and, with the simple installation of new o-rings (supplied with the new pump/fittings) on the old elbows I was able to complete the pump replacement in a little over an hour--most of that hour was spent wiggling into and out of the small space under our RV's bed where the pump is located.On a subsequent camping trip we found we could run the shower and run the sink faucet with little or no noticeable loss of water pressure.

This is a replacement pump for our boat fresh water system. Installed easily, and is quiet.

It's not totally quiet but for a water pump it's not bad at all. i could install it on a better isolation pad to keep it from making noise. This pump was a replacement for a similar pump that was 30 years old. Glad to have water in the RV again!! It gets up to pressure and automatically shuts off. The connectors are those quick slide on types and they don't leak. Plenty of adapters for installation in existing setups. Good price, nice kit and easy install.

Initially, this was a nice, quiet pump. By the 3rd RV trip, the pump began cycling, (running for 3-5 seconds every 5 minutes or so.) Very annoying when you're trying to sleep. Also, the pump's one-way check valve failed, so while connected to city water, the pressure would back up the system causing the fresh water tank to slowly fill, and eventually overflow.
