High Sierra Curve Backpack, True Navy

I bought this as a temporary replacement until I received my Northface backpack from warranty repair. Purchased it on sale from Amazon and am loving it. It is big enough for my daily use and has pockets for pens and other small items in the front pocket. The side water bottle area can fit a large bottle. The main area can hold quite a good amount. I’ve put a some groceries bags in there full of fruits and light items without problem.The material seems good and I think it should last at least a few years if properly taken care of. Hope it will last that long as I do like it.I’ve been using it for about two weeks and the only downside that I’ve noticed so far is the zipper is not that easy to operate if you are holding it single handed. My Northface bag was easy to use even single handed.The quality control and material looks very good. Material is harder than some bags. I purchased a couple of the high Sierra loop backpacks from another online vendor and the workmanship did not seem as good as this bag. I had to exchange them. This one just looks better overall. I also purchased a High Sierra loop from Amazon - different color - and the quality was very good as well. Not sure if they came from better batches/ factories. Some reviews say the High Sierra bags’ quality is bad and others say it is good. I have seen both sides and it seems to vary where you purchase from, to an extent.I will update any changes I may see while using this bag in the next few weeks.

I originally purchased this backpack in a different color a few years ago while I was going to college, and it was the best backpack! I absolutely loved it! It's sturdy, but not too big and bulky with a bunch of random straps like I've seen some backpacks have. It has a place for my water bottle, and the color was so cute! Then somehow after I graduated it got misplaced and I've looked everywhere in my house for it and just could not find it anywhere. So I decided to buy another one! I got a different color this time and I wish I could have gotten the same color as before but it wasn't available. I'm so happy to have this backpack in my life again! It's a great backpack to travel with!

In terms of space, his backpack is pretty good. It's main compartment is pretty spacious. Sometimes the middle compartment can be a bit tight when I'm putting all of my miscellaneous stuff in there, but it seems fine. I'm going to use this backpack for high school, and it's not as big as my previous backpack, but I think I'll be okay.The material used for this seems like one of the harder fabrics, unlike Jansport backpacks which seem softer. This backpack feels waterproof, but I don't think it actually is.I originally got the true navy color, but I didn't like it, so I got a refund and bought the black one. The true navy is a bit brighter when in well lit areas than the picture shows. I'll include a picture of comparison in the review.Overall, I'm pleased with my backpack. I'll maybe update this when I actually go to school.

My son carried this bookbag for 2nd and 3rd grade(no replacement). I ordered it again for 4th grade and I use his old one as my bag. My child is all noy and very rough. His nookbsg did not tear, loose color, or loose its sturdiness at all (for 2 years)
