Makes Checking Car Problems Easy
I like to be able to check what the problem is before I go to a garage to have my car fixed. It lets me know if the mechanics are being upfront and honest with their diagnosis. I've had a gas cap not sealed well cause my check engine light to come on before. This can help you know if it might be simple things like that causing your check engine light to come on. Also, the battery checking feature is really nice. You don't have to go anywhere and depend on the word of someone trying to sell you a battery to know whether or not your battery is truly bad. You can use this device and know ahead of time. It's easy to use, has a lot of different functions, and works as advertised. I recommend this product.

Easy to use, simple diagnostic tool
Pretty slick. Just plug it into the port under your dash and it comes on. Menu is straightforward and easy to get around in. I saw trouble codes, emissions (like is it ready to pass the emissions test?), Live data (rpm, speed, O2 sensors, etc), battery test, etc. It is probably not professional grade, but will work great for any car owner to quickly know what is going on with their car.Only not is the buttons look like up, down, left, right, but they don't move through the menu that way. Two buttons move you through the menu and the other two confirm or cancel. All in all, I'm really happy with it.

Scan Tasktic
Scanner worked good for reading codes and clearing them and seeing general engine data but you can't change any parameters. Works good for what it is and has a decent size screen that's readable... I would recommend.

Useful OBDII scanner
I bought it to check the engine light in my car and I found out what was the issue so I started looking at how to fix it. I saved a lot of money and time. Very convenient and easy to use, you just need to plug it into the car and it will start the measurements automatically. Even at night you can clearly see the screen. Not only you can diagnose the codes, but also clear the codes, check the oxygen sensor test, battery voltage test, and I/M readiness. Definitely well worth the money I totally recommend it to anyone with a car, especially an old one.

You get what you pay for
I could not change my temperature settings on this item and switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit and was over converting. Possibly just a faulty unit, not 💯

does the job and easy to use
worked with my 2017 Subaru Forester. I am not a mechanic by any means but I was able to use this scanner to read a code related to coil pack and erase it after replacing a coil pack. I think it was a very simple code with easy resolution. This scanner is simple and easy to use. `
