Very Important People

I just finished reading Very Important People and wow! That was probably the best book I have ever read. It was very well written, I never wanted to put it down and could have just kept reading. I hope to see more books by E.C Silver one day! I would highly recommend this book to anyone!

I so enjoyed reading E. C. Silver's novel. Very Important People is a true page turner. I couldn't wait to learn how Nicole would react and act to each growing pain that came her way. Without giving up the ending, I just want to say that I wasn't disappointed with her final decisions. Thanks!

After literally decades of reading little else besides nonfiction, this book was recommended as an excellent example of a well written contemporary novel. I’d forgotten how a skilled writer can create an entire stage with a few phrases. The people, emotions, surroundings, even the weather become very real and personal. And the seamless blend of wit and humor is refreshing without being distracting. I won’t give up on those Civil War biographies, but I’ll be adding more of the ‘fictional’ world. Hope there is more to come from this author.

I loved the book from beginning to end. It reminded me of when my daughter was coming of age and all of the trials and tribulations she experienced. The story reminded me of My feelings as a mother when I had to let my daughter spread her wings and fly to her destiny. I would recommend this book wholeheartedly. Loved, loved, loved it.

E.C. Silver has taken me back to my summer after college. The characters are so well developed. I felt everything Nicole was going through, the emotions were so real. Perfect coming of age book. I laughed and cried. I only a few chapters left to read, and while I am excited to see how it ends, I also am going to miss the world that E.C. delivered on every page. The best summer read of 2021!
