Excellent Elliptical for the serious home user who wants a near-gym quality piece of equipment.
Debated several weeks before making this purchase but eventually did so after reading many reviews and seeing it go on sale for several hundred dollars less than even the closest competition. Setup is super easy as most of it is already assembles in the container. It was packaged very well and sits on a half pallet. Beware, it's very heavy and took my 16 year old football playing son and I both to trek it upstairs to our bonus room. It's not a flimsy or lightly gauged steel piece of equipment. For those who have complained about squeaking noise I recommend you fully tighten the allen screws holding the rear cross support member to the unit. The unit will squeak as you step through the motion if those screws are not securely (and fully) seated in the cross member.Screen is very night (touchscreen) and easy to use. Ipad holder is perfect for watching videos during a workout. makes it go by super fast. The cup holder is also nice for a bottle of water. My only gripe is the iFit coach trial and 1 year membership. that's garbage. I tried inputting the code that came with the unit into my iFit account and it said it was invalid. Tried calling iFit's 1-800 number from their website only to get a recording reiterating their extremely limited hours. At that point I gave up and figured it wasn't worth it. Bunch of hype. But the unit itself is impressive and much better quality with more features than I expected for the price. Definitely would recommend to other seeking a great unit at this price point.

Loud, creaky and rocks and sways through a workout
This was very easy to set up, although the ease is balanced with the weight of trying to lift the unit right out of the box. The display and workouts are nice. The biggest downfall is the sturdiness. This thing creaks and moans and rocks and sways all through a workout. I’ve tried rebalancing to no avail. Disappointed with the value for the price, even if it’s one of the cheaper elliptical alternatives.

Costly Membership required for Full Functionality
This Elliptical is very sturdy made and a great workout machine, but it requires a paid monthly subscription to record your stats. It is very heavy, which makes it hard to move, although it is advertised as storable.(Yes you can fold it up and store it away, but not on a daily basis - You need 2 people to move it)We would have given it more stars, since until recently a basic free membership with iFit allowed the build in touchscreen to record your workouts and so you could see your times and calories burned. BUT now this function is switched off and it is basically an unpowered exercise machine. To use any of the digital functions you need to subscribe to a iFit paid membership. I think this is ridiculous for such an expensive piece of equipment. I understand that the extra exercises, such as personal trainer, videos, and even the running on google streetview requires constant updates and therefore a subscription, but the basic build in exercises and the recording of your own stats should be free as long as you own the equipment.

Great quality & very sturdy - good value!
I've been watching ellipticals for several years now, looking for the right one. This one had mostly positive reviews with only a few mixes. Here's my thoughts: Love the display, while smaller, it is digital screen and easy to follow. Love the stride - it's very comfortable for both me (5'5") and my husband (5'10"). Rare for a home elliptical- no knee knocking, and with the back loader, it's extremely sturdy! This was important as I've attempted home ellipticals before, and felt like I was going to bust my knee or fall over.Only major negatives, the resistance was surprising. If you jump on (without turning it on) the resistance has no problem. If you turn on the programs though - the 1st resistance level is somewhat more difficult than anticipated. I had seen this in another review, and thought perhaps it was just theirs or they were out of shape/etc... nope. It's the elliptical. You will get used to it, but imagine about a 5 on any other machine. It's only been a month, so hoping this will loosen up as the machine is used more (or I'll get used to it- and be in better shape!). Overall a minor inconvenience for a great buy.

Not a bad product but no support.
This product is exactly what I was looking for in size and form factor, however I have been having issues with the incline for months. The arm handle and touch screen incline buttons malfunction all the time. I have created multiple support tickets online through Proform via Icon fitness and have yet to have anyone reach out or have any resolve.

Great Elliptical so far!
I've been using my ProForm Elliptical for 1.5 months and so far, I love it! It wobbles when on a steep incline, but I can live with that. I selected this elliptical for the incline (which I regularly use), various intensity levels and the wide stride - all have met my expectations. It's a smooth ride, not very bouncy like other ellipticals on market, so good for someone with back issues (like me!). I also love the iFit software on the monitor so you can workout with a trainer who runs through beautiful locations around the globe. When the trainer walks/runs uphill, the ProForm Elliptical inclines automatically with course. So cool!

Very motivating
I am 5' 5" and I love the stride; it is very comfortable. The variety of locations and workouts available on iFit make me want to work out more - which is amazing. The only detractor is that when you are climbing steep hills and therefore putting more stress on the arms the machine feels less stable - like maybe it needs a wider base. Overall I am happy with the elliptical and have been working out more consistently. Definitely love iFit!
