I ordered this device as I have recently been diagnosed with atrial fib and need to check blood pressure and heart rate at least daily. Homedics is a well known and respected company for quality devices. I especially like the blue tooth feature that transfers the information to my apple iPhone automatically and stores it in the Health Summary Information Section. .There is an app that you must download from the App Store for Homedics. The Homedics app must be open on your phone before the bluetooth transmission will occur. Although you could transmit every other day (or longer), when you do transmit all of the readings from the Homedics device will have the transmission date in your phone. Not the date the blood pressure was taken. This is not an issue with Homedics - as you will see the correct date & time on the blood pressure machine and in the Homedics app on your phone.. Instead it is an "issue" with the Health Summary Section on your iphone as it stamps the date and time with when it received it.My recommendation is that you transmit to your phone at the time you take your readings. You cannot change the date & time once it is stored in your phone. This is not a big deal, but one you need to know to document accurate readings.This may sound a little odd, but when you start using it it will make sense. I highly recommend the Homedics blood pressure monitor.

Plus: Good app, size and carrying case. Minus: Screen is hard to read. On button on side in weird location. When you pick up or put down the device, you always hit this button.

I have been using a BP monitor for 22 years. I have tried them all. This new Homedics Bluetooth monitor is far and away the best of them all. The numbers are large and easy to read. When paired with the Homedics health app it provides an easy to read history of your readings. Download the app onto your computer or smart phone first. It takes no time at all. Follow the easy instructions in the app to pair your monitor with your smart phone or tablet or computer. Push the blue tooth button on the bottom right of your monitor and you are all set. The monitor is super quiet and much easier to use than any other I have used. Multiple users can be set to use this monitor and recordings in the App. You can use battery power at wall plug in. Very convenient when taking on trips. Everything fits into a nice compact carry case. This monitor will visually let you know if you are at a stage of hypertension. It provides an average of last 3 readings on the monitor and the app will provide a more long term average. This monitor paired with your smart phone or tablet is amazing!!!! I could not be more pleased

My husband and I tried several different times to Bluetooth it to our phones. We have yet to have success cementing them

This is the third monitor I've purchased, and the 2nd that had Bluetooth connectivity, something I wanted so that I could easily show my doctor my readings. This one is by far the easiest to connect and sync, for quick documentation of your results. Sure you have to download their app, & connectivity with other apps would be appreciated, but their app is very easy to use, easy to sync as long as you have Bluetooth enabled, and shows great details about your results. The price point is very good for the features you will get. I highly recommend it.

This device syncs right up to your phone and delivers the results much faster than other units I've used. It has notations as to if your blood pressure is elevated or what stage your blood pressure is registering. It has the ability to be exported and sent to your provider if needed. Great for two users as well. Large numbers and easy to understand instructions.

Thought this would give accurate readings since it scan 3 times before giving the reading. It was giving outrageously high readings. I didn’t have another machine to check it by, but I’ve never had readings 200plus over 100plus. Also, the cuff was hard to put on and adjust. And no matter how loose I put it on, it squeezed my arm so hard it was unbearable. I sent it back.

This product is worth the purchase! The technology is simple enough to use but intricate enough to get the data on what you need. I never knew how to read my blood pressure results and quickly learned using this machine. Not only does it check your blood pressure but it also has a neat triple check feature to get accurate results and checks to see if you have an irregular heartbeat. I am a runner and staying up to date with my cardiovascular system has always been important to me.
