Stone Lain Lucy Porcelain 16-Piece Round Dinnerware Set, Beige

This set is beautiful. We love them.

The only reason these aren't a 5 star is that the "black" rim of the dishes is uneven. You can see in the attached photo that the painted ring has uneven streaks of brown black. This is probably the design intent, now that I think about it, because of the spiraling nature of the painting on the underside of the dishes. But in the photos, it looked evenly black, and that was what I was expecting.

This dinnerware is just what I was looking for to update my kitchen! They are each the same decoration, yet individual touch. I started out with a service for 8, and ended up with service for 12 since they're good for every day use, but classy enough I can be set out for family gatherings and holidays!

I love this set--it's sturdy and easy to grip and doesn't look cheap. However, in the first two weeks, a plate broke in the microwave after 30 seconds of heating even though they are described as dishwasher safe. I'm hoping it was just a fluke. I couldn't figure out how to contact the company about this. Amazon took care of it. I don't know if breakage will happen again or not . . .

I'm so glad I pulled the trigger and bought these dishes. I adore them. The texture on the plates is so fun!!! And each one is slightly different. I love seeing the slight imperfections in the paint, it makes them all look so handmade and authentic. My only complaint is that there are not more styles of dishes in this set! Like I would love a set of smaller bowls, or mixing bowls, or a platter, etc.

The one thing I was worried about was that the dinnerware would have too many imperfections. I decided to cross my fingers & hope for the best because I really liked the design. I received my order on Monday, inspected all the pieces. 2 pieces had small flaws that I didn't like, so I emailed them at the address on the insert that came with the set. My replacements arrived today, 4 days later. Very happy!

3 plates out of the set arrived broken.Will edit this status and give a better review if this problem is corrected. I love the dinnerware, just wish they were intact.(Update!)They sent me 3 plates wrapped up nicely and they arrived unscathed! Great customer service for an excellent quality product. Highly recommend as they will take care of you as they did for me!
