Video is misleading, has design flaws and is of poor quality for its price.
The video in this product description is misleading. It shows the gentleman assembling it and then locking the casters. It does NOT come with locking casters. Really? The plastic is of poor quality. There’s injection mold marks on the *finished*/top surfaces, and upon opening the box it just reeks of that moldy “Chineseum” plastic... You know the odor I’m talking about; that cheap plastic from overseas that’s pungent and of poor quality, and likely off-gassing toxins to the point of cancer. I’m not kidding you that our detail shop reeked for the day of this terrible odor after opening the box.As far as poor quality, I should qualify that some more: the legs are hollow and have no internal bracing. So each and every of them is severely bowed inward. That also includes the black shelves. While there is some minor bracing on the underside of the shelves, they bow and sag with any amount of weight on them, including one of my polishers and accessories. So forget about putting a two or three gallon small bucket of liquids on any of the shelves.Design flaws: most detail carts have provisions to hang the bottles by their spray triggers, either on the shelves or on the handles. This doesn’t allow for either. They fall off the handles, or they swing too far into the underside of the shelves, and also fall.I would have gladly paid $25 for this, because to me, that’s what it’s worth...tops. I think it’s overpriced and I’m embarrassed that I didn’t spend the extra few dollars for a better competing utility/detailing cart from the better named detailing outfits. For 100 bucks, I feel gypped and foolish. Max Shine is across the river from me in Wisconsin, and I probably won’t ever trust to buy anything from them again. This thing is a complete rip off for 100 bucks.I’m not even going to bother returning it because it’s not worth the headaches. I’ll hang onto this as a simple conversation piece about “how to get gypped 101”, and for lightweight items, such as my wife’s dainty panties and thongs.
