This skirt is lovely! High quality, flattering shape, comfortable ~ I LOVE it. I’m 5’5” 130 and usually go with medium but I ordered a small (because it was on sale) and it just fits. Length is perfect with 2-3” heels. I paired it with a vintage top, corset, and floppy hat and it will work for Titanic, Downtown Abbey, Suffragette, or Mary Poppins costume.

Other reviews mention how stretchy this is. It is except for the waist....it does have a side zipper...so don't expect any stretch at the waist. This fit me perfect. I'm 5' 9" tall and 135 pounds and it actually is right at the floor so not too short nor too long. It is very well made with nice stitching inside. The material is durable and not see-through. It did come super wrinkled and the care instructions recommend dry cleaning.

First let me say that this skirt is beautiful. Very well made and very flattering.After reading reviews I couldn’t figure out what size to order. Some say order your size, order one size smaller, and some said fits too small and to order one size larger. So I ordered all three sizes.I’m normally a Large. The Large fits perfect. Not too tight where it’s uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time and not loose where you can’t see curves.The medium fit me as well. It was snug and I struggled getting the zipper fully up. Much tighter where it would be uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing.The XL was too loose and didn’t show my curves which is why I ordered this skirt.This skirt does have a stretch which is very convenient if you fluctuate in weight (like I do).Don’t be afraid to just order your size. The worst that can happen is you return for a different size.Good luck ladies, you’re gonna love it.

This high quality, beautifully made skirt is stunning in everyway!. The fit is generous and the material is very high quality with the right thickness. You will want to wear this skirt and never take it off because of it's comfort and give. This skirt is also very flattering for every figure type. The skirt runs long in length so, if you are short in height, you may want to wear heels. I have never written a review before but, I just had to share how much I love this skirt. I work on a movie set and studio and bought it for a period costume but, I will wear it in public off set too. If you're into the "Steampunk" look, this skirt is perfect. If you wish to feel like a Queen, buy this skirt because it's figure flattering and so, so comfortable!. Ok, now that you read my honest review, what are you waiting for?. This skirt is beautiful, but I will be honest, whomever sewed in the zipper needs lessons! It's to close to the material on my skirt and catches the material so I am taking it out and redoing it. That is my only con because it won't zip up all the way. Now as I am 5'6 it is a tad to short, but fixable by adding some lace to the bottom (which I will add lace to the ruffle to make it look better. I have skinny hips and legs, so for me it is a little lose but that is fine for me, easy to walk in. The skirt can be worn with the ruffle on the sides, back or front. That for me is a pro, since I wanted it in the back. Make sure when you get it to have a steamer handy as it comes in a zip lock type bag and is wrinkly as all can be. The material is stretchy, for me that didn't come into play. It's not a material I would pick from the store, but over all very nice.

Very nice quality fabric. Fit well. My friend and I had the same skirt in adifferent color, hers had a hook closure at top but mine did not. The hook would have been appreciated to help zip it up, but once zipped it stayed zipped.The ribbon is a bit flimsy, but it is decoration not tension holding. Just make sure your bow is tied firmly.For reference I am 5'3, 145# (all bottom curves) and the Medium fit well with heels.

I bought this skirt for my Halloween costume, but ended up liking it so much that I wear it on a weekly basis. It's very well made and the purple color is beautiful. I'm 5'5 and the medium is just short enough so that it doesn't drag on the floor. I like my pants to be somewhat on the loose side, and I still found the medium comfortable. There is a lot of flexibility and stretch in the hips, so you can probably go down a size if you are between sizes.

This skirt is quite nice. The material is slightly stretchy, good quality and well sewn. It fits slightly larger than expected. I'm 5'7, around 147lbs and fairly athletic. My top half is a size 6 (small waist) and bottom half usually a size 10. I bought a medium and it will work but I wonder if a small would have fit better. It is somewhat wrinkly out of the package. I plan to have it pressed before I wear it. I noticed there are similar skirts on Amazon, note that some seem to be made of a more structured material that fit small. This skirt has quite a bit of stretch and is a bit bigger for sizing.

The sizing of the skirt was a little off from the chart and thus too small to wear, prompting a return.This being said, the skirt was very well made, the fabric is indeed very good quality material and the stitching was strong.While it did not fit me, I do still recommend this item as a good purchase so long as you keep the sizing being slightly smaller in mind.Beautiful skirt, all in all.
