Transformative Etiquette: A guide to Love and Refining Self

I own and have read many etiquette books over the years. Some books, you just flip through to find the situation that matches your current "etiquette problem" and you never read the rest. But this book is different. Jackie, the author, grabs your attention in the very beginning with her personal story about herself: why etiquette matters to her and why it should matter to us all. She then moves into the most relevant etiquette information we need to know today. One of my favorite things about Jackie Vernon-Thompson and what she teaches is NOBODY is better than anyone else, we just know more sometimes and we come from different worlds. We are all worthy, we are all important. She teaches you to have respect for yourselves and for others. This is the reason for etiquette. It is not antiquated, it is still relevant. Add this book to your library!

I just started reading and so far I have no complaints. In a world where etiquette has taken a backseat, it’s great to have these kinds of books published to bring etiquette back to life. I can’t wait to finish.
