Wick Fowler’s Famous 2-Alarm Chili Kit 3.3 oz. Box (Pack of 12)

My family loves this mix, the masa adds a wonderful flavor

We all love the chili from this amazing mixture by Wick Fowler. I hate HOT and spicy, so this is fine for me and my husband and son (who likes hot and spicy) and my 2 grandsons. We all enjoy a very full-bodied flavor and I "make it my own" a bit by browning the meat with a good vegetable oil or olive oil, chopped sweet onions, chopped garlic cloves and a little Kosher salt. I use a 28 oz can of diced or chopped tomatoes to add a little color and heft to the chili, since we don't use beans. I also add a few ounces of Ragu traditional sauce. We top it with a sharp shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream and serve with a crusty bread. This is made in large batches by me, so I can send some home with my son and/or freeze a dish. Great product, so do try it and enjoy the results.

There's only one kind of real chili, and that's Texas chili. No beans, no noodles, no turkey, no cinnamon, no chocolate - just chili the way it was created in San Antonio. Whether you like it mild like this one or fiery hot like the Two Alarm, if you want it good and fast, this is the only acceptable off the shelf chili mix. It's quick, it's easy. I use half ground beef and half steak cubes from a lean cut and it's off the hook.

I do not understand all the five star reviews. This stuff is horrible in my opinion. Wierd, bitter after taste. I actually triple checked the instructions to make sure I didnt do something wrong.

Excellent Chili Mix. I have a Chili Recipe that is better than this one but not by much. The difference is that this one takes minutes where mine takes well over an hour. No contest. I have made the mix as the recipe says and have also added beans and corn depending on what my friends wanted. Works great !

Flavorful but not too spicy chili. Also easy to make only requires hamburger meat, beans, and tomatoes takes under 10min prep time and cooks for under an hour. All the additions are purely customizable. Inside the box is pre-measured spices with directions. Couldn't be simpler makes a large meal if you add few cans beans and diced or stewed tomatoes.

Great flavor leave out the hot pepper and you have false alarm. I always try to go for the 3.3 oz package for a richer flavor don’t forget the yellow rice with this one!

Tried this once and now this is the only spice kit we use to make chilli. It's that good. Yes - true it's fabulous with meat or a veggie chilli. Awesome.
