Five Star Android TV Box!
21-Dec-2017 Update: My other system ran flawlessly for several months after the factory reset/re-install, so I bought another of these boxes. That was 10 days ago, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. All I did was plug in the network cable, installed Kodi and got the user experience I was looking for. This is a great value for the price. The unit's fit and finish gives a quality impression. It feels good in my hand, the sleep function on the remote works, the reboot function on the remote works, has plenty of RAM, adequate storage space, and the network is very fast. Five Stars! It crashes/freezes 1 or 2 times a day! I was in a hurry at the time, and did not read all the reviews carefully. Others reported it freezes after a while, and you have to pull the power cord and restart every thing. I'll be returning this Monday. Should have stick with Idroidnation!--------------------30-Jul-2017: Based in customer comments here, I did a factory reset by inserting a paperclip in the reset hole underneath. After that, I went to the playstore and re-install Kodi. I installed my IPTV service add-ons, added my local media, and the only other add-ons I used were from the official Kodi team repos. That seems to have fixed the problem with the box freezing/crashing. It has been running flawlessly for the past 2.5 days. I'm adding in other add-ons one by one to see if and when a problem occurs. I'll reconsider my rating then.--------------Well it's been a while now, and the box has worked flawlessly since I did the factory reset and reinstalled. Four stars for that. Others can rate five stars if the seller takes note and performs these steps before shipping the boxes out. It would sure save customers frustration.

2nd Best Android Box I've Owned
Android boxes are a hobby, and I've owned several of them: MX2 4K, not sure of the brand but an octacore box, and the Nvidia Shield; along with a copy other dual core or quad core boxes. Nothing touches the Shield, but the GT1 is the 2nd best box I've owned. It scored 2600 on the Geekbench 4 test, and it's really fast. The 3gb of DD4 ran runs Kodi and other apps smoothly, and it handles apks easily. I haven't tried gaming on it yet, but that's something to look forward to. Its a little pricey, but it's great performance for under $100. However, I've run into one issue that I find very annoying. It has android 7.1 and there's no Ethernet setting in the menu. Randomly when the box isn't in use, it stops recognizing the Ethernet cable and shows not connecting. If I reboot the box, everything works again. I'm looking for a work around or a patch to fix this, but so far nothing. Those on wifi this isn't an issue.

Great tv box
let me start it with the fact that I order tv boxes like these one often so I can tell which one is best , I own a nvidia shield as my main one and not changing that , but from all that I have tried this one is the best one , I actually believe is good as the nvidia when comes to performance and image ,the built quality is very good , the gigabit internet port is a plus for FHD live channels stream , cpu and gpu are great and the smart box is very quick , I just don't like that the version of android is old and interface don't work always good due to old version installed of android , I do not believe you can update it as nvidia shield does it , so there is my 4 start

Jerky Picture, Audio out of Sync, Remote lacks critical buttons for video control
IR Remote does not have any Play, Pause, FF or REW buttons, and is difficult to navigate with. Picture was jerky not smooth, and the audio was not properly sync'ed with the video. I compared with the exact same source stream running at the same time on a Roku device, and that was a better quality picture (richer colors), perfectly smooth, with synched audio and video, and actually louder audio, so it was definitely not the stream that was at fault. Since the hardware specs for this device are among the best currently available on an Android device, I can only conclude that the Beelink firmware is incapable of processing the audio and video correctly. This item is being returned. And, incidentally, both the Beelink and the Roku I was comparing it with were on the same wired Ethernet LAN, running at 1Gbps. I have very fast Internet (in excess of 300 Mbps down, 20 Mbps up), and was not using wi-fi, so this truly was an apples-to-apples comparison. It's possible that I was a victim of Beelink quality control and just received a faulty unit, but I doubt it.

No Bee-Link Support
UPDATE #2Bee Link provides absolutely zero customer service and or support. There are specific issues with the OTA updates that affect the functionality of these devices. After contacting the seller and joining their forums, it is very clear that Bee-Link does not provide the support that is required to make the boxes functional after their pushed OTA update.Great TV Box - Used to be...!UPDATED.....So good that I'm ordering a second. Since this unit is so small and tends to run hot I also use https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G059G86/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2AW0W4FKP16S5&psc=1 beneath it to keep it cool. I've found that I can plug it directly into the TV or into the box itself to power it up. I also purchased a https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EFAGMRA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to make it much easier to navigate with.

Good android box.
Pretty good android box. Works flawlessly. My only complaint is that it doesn't keep the wifi certificate refreshed when it goes dormant so I have to unplug and replug the ethernet cable to get internet back. Using wireless does not solve the problem. There is no way to stop it from going dormant when not in use. My older android box didnt have this problem. Otherwise I absolutely love this android box. If they fix the internet problem in the next generation, I will buy another one from this company for sure. Also I have not found a wireless keyboard that worked perfectly with it.
