At first I was searching for more of the smell the dealer adds (not the pine-tree scent), but this is so much nicer. It strikes a good balance between not being overwhelming but has a "lasting" effect and a presence. It's a mix between "cool" and "fresh" scents if that helps at all... You will have to get something for it to diffuse through (several on ebay or amazon) but it's a good product so far.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this purchase. I bought this mainly out of curiousity as to what "new car" smelled like when bottled. Before it arrived I thought that it would smell very rubbery but it actually smells reminiscent of those tree shaped air fresheners that people hang from their rear view windows, I like it.

Don’t know what the smell is, but it’s not new car. However, not offensive either. The smell doesn’t last, so I don’t think it’s worth the price.

It smelled right but i poured the entire bottle in one spot in my car thinking it would be strong for a long time in one spot, the new car smell lasted about 3 days.

Not recommended
Prolonged shipping and concensus of my friends is it smells like a restroom or the blue stuff in bottom of Porta potty. I threw it away.

Huele bien pero no a coche nuevo.
El aceite huele muy bien pero con un olor predominante a naranja, a coche nuevo no huele, por lo menos para mi. Pero huele muy bien.

Bought for sons new car for freshners I had bought him. Wasn't expecting much given the price but they are great. The scent is a cross between new car scent and oranges and lemons. So fresh and clean smelling. He loves them and I pinched one for my car. Bought 2mths ago and still going strong. Really great price for something that can be too strong or not strong enough but these are great and I have a small car and not overpowering . Will buy again. Good selection of scents and so easy to use.
