Works flawlessly with the Steam Deck
If you are using this with a Steam Deck, do bear in mind this dock draws 15w on its own, so the Steam Deck's supplied 45w PSU will not cut it.I'm using a third party 100w PD charger which gives me more than enough headroom to add peripherals, and still fully power the Steam Deck.It does exactly what it promises, I get flawless 4k output @ 60hz via HDMI, and a number of ports and card slots. The gigabit network port also makes a significant difference. I've included images of two speedtest results. The first with the Steam Deck's WiFi and the second as a wired connection though this Dock.Top marks, this does exactly what I need!

Simple and useful
I needed a gigabit ethernet adaptor and some legacy USB A ports for my Apple Studio Display and MacBook. This fitted the bill perfectly. Gig Ethernet works perfectly at full duplex and the flash card reader is fast and the USB A ports allow connection of my legacy USB stuff stuff which was cheaper than a new cable!

Doesn't work on Steam Deck*
EDIT:An edit to the review below, where I discovered I couldn't use this device as an ethernet adaptor for my Steam Deck. After having submitted the review, I thought I'd try the PD power pass through. I connected the (45w I think) Steam Deck USB-C power cable to this hub, which in turn is connected to my Steam Deck. Then, suddenly, the ethernet port started working! So, the gigabit ethernet port DOES work on the Steam Deck, but only while it's connected to power. The other devices I've tried, such as Surface / iPad Pro work without external power.--I'm a bit gutted. In the list of supported OS's at the top of the page, the first one is Linux. So I thought I'd get this to use on my Steam Deck. This would allow me to connect to fibre internet via Ethernet, rather than rely on Wifi.Well, it doesn't work on the Steam Deck. No connection shows on the Steam Deck, no lights come on, on the hub when connecting an ethernet cable. Nothing.I've tried (and am typing this) on my Surface Tablet. There it works great, and gives me my full download speed, something my previous (cheap) USB-C hub didn't do.I just tried it on my iPad Pro, works great on there. I haven't tried my Switch yet, but I'm a bit gutted I can't use it on my Steam Deck, my #1 reason for purchase.I'd hoped to take advantage of the PD power pass through, while using ethernet, USB, and also trying HDMI. I thought I could plug in a keyboard and mouse, ethernet and power, and try the Steam Deck on the TV, maybe as a media player.Despite having just purchased this, I guess I'll have to invest in another USB-C hub.Other than the Steam Deck, this seems to work great. Maybe if I boot into Linux Desktop mode a set of drivers can be downloaded in the terminal. Otherwise I'll do an internet search and find a multi USB-C hub which will support the Steam Deck.

Compact and excelent quality
This item was very compact, and worked exceedingly well. Unfortunately, mine did not come with an external power supply, which from the product details I expected. Some of the devices I planned to use with it require power, DVD, hard drives etc, so I would prefer a device that supplies this, rather than taking it from the laptop. Hence I returned it for a refund, and will seek one that is powered.

Streamlees and faultless
Works so well. The 60Hz capability is noticed by the settings in my computers and, plugging in an ethernet cable so as to comply with GDPR risks by not using wireless is a godsend.Would buy again if it was required.

Works perfectly
I use this hub velcro'd to the back of my laptop. It does exactly what it says on the tin. I would have liked the lead to be an extra inch or two and the usb port to be 90 degrees but that's just what I would personally want. Great hub, great speeds.

Ethernet - Horrible white light flashing at all times
The media could not be loaded. Why in the world would anyone install this crazy flashing light into the hub? The hub, like any device of this sort, is directly connected to my laptop and the light flashes like crazy when I'm on Ethernet (the only reason I bought this) - it's very, very distracting. Everything else works fine, but this is a complete deal breaker for me. I cannot have a disco going on. There's no way to tape over it.

Works perfectly with Steam Deck
I bought this to connect a Steam Deck to monitor, keyboard, controller, etc and it worked perfectly out of the box.It provides enough passthrough power to prevent the deck discharging providing you use a 100w power supply - this is important, as the Steam Deck charger isn't powerful enough to use with this dock.Overall, very happy with this dock.
