I tried so many times to get these table bases put together. I called the company, Pipe Decor, and explained no matter how many times we took it apart and put it back together, we could not get the legs even. I wanted to return them. (I had bought 2 bases) they said, "You have to deal with Amazon". And the 30-day return had expired. Save yourself the time and money - and look elsewhere.

Important to note that the pieces come greasy. You’ll have to scrub them all throughly with soap and leave them out to completely dry. Also, one of the pipes in my box was not the correct size. Everything should’ve been 1/2 but one of them was 3/4. Had to take a trip to Lowe’s to buy a replacement. However, I will say that this is a bargain, considering how many pieces are supplied. The same exact parts at Lowe’s run about $2-$6 for each piece, which would run you upwards of $80-$100 to create this leg layout on your own.

Like most of the other comments/reviews say, the “Turnpike” style comes with a 4” connector for the middle. There is absolutely no scenario in which that will work sufficiently. I went to Lowe’s and bought a 1/2” x 4.5” pipe and it fit perfectly and the table was awesome after that. I really love the look and still think it’s worth it, I just wish they would change that middle pipe.

Overall a good price and solid components. The legs on the Turnpike stand can not be leveled because the included 4" center pipe is NOT the correct length to make up the difference for the offset of the legs. Two of the legs will be about 1/2" higher than the other two legs. The only way to fix it is to cut the pipe and rethread the ends. I ended up just eliminating the turnpike style and bought a 12" pipe and turned the stand into a H frame stand which worked great.

The pipe nipple that connects the two leg sets should be 4.5” in length instead of the 4” included - what is included does not allow for the legs to be level. Went to Lowes and got what was needed.
