Leviton 80401-TMP 1-Gang, Decora/GFCI Device Wallplate, Standard Size, Thermoset, Device Mount, 10-Pack, Light Almond

Had to purchase the oversize plate after the standard size was too small to cover existing work behind my original plate. I wall mounted a 40" television in my bedroom and ran some wires inside the wall. I used a cut in box with a decora style brush plate for the entry and exit of these wire. I purchased this decora style cover plate to give a finished look to the decora style brush plate. This cover installs fairly easily with the two included flat head screws. So far, this cover plate has performed as expected. I adjusted the two screws with a vertical alignment which I prefer. I just looked at it again and it is still covering the hole and brush plate and the screws haven't moved. Given that the only potentially moving parts in this setup are the wires going through the hole/brush plate and the two screws, I expect this cover plate to perform reliably. Should either or both screws move from their vertical alignment, a flat head screwdriver is all that should be required to put them back in alignment. I think that most people could install this plate without hiring a professional.

It's a brown face plate. It matches the switch I bought. It seems to be sturdy and it didn't come scratched. However, there are 2 holes to attach it, only one brown screw in the bag. Maybe quality control could pay a bit more attention to this rather big detail. Now I have to get creative, and my OCD will not allow one brown and one black.

Plate fits but not as large as a standard wall plate. Perfect match to the older switch plates covers I had. I couldn’t find this color at HD plus the ones at HD were much higher in price. Even though these are called ivory, they are more of a beige which was perfect. Once again Amazon has exactly what I needed at a great price and fast delivery!

For some reason, this cover is smaller than the same cover you by from the orange big box store. The result was one of my switches looking weird, so I had to order the correct one from the other place. Disappointing, not sure why Leviton make a different version for Amazon than they do for the big box store.

I got a couple of these to go with two Leviton 3 way rocker switches I purchased for my laundry / mud room. Switches went in great, and these matched the color perfectly, as expected.Screws matched up fine, nice and snug fit on the wall, but I was a little surprised to see a slight gap around the outer edge of the Leviton switch and the inner edge of this plate. They just don't QUITE have the size right.Not so noticeable as it leaps out at you as soon as you walk in the room, but definitely there when you look for it, unlike the other rocker switch / plate combinations I've used before.Nice solid piece, strong but flexible so you don't feel like the moment you tighten that screw 1/4 turn too much you will crack it. Just wish it fit a little better.

I got a pack of these because I bought a bunch of new outlets with included USB sockets. These new outlets were for gifts, so I wanted to include a simple single gang wall plate so that they would have something to use for installation. I figured they could always switch these basic plates at their own leisure.They are exactly what I expected. The plastic is as durable as I figured they would be. ie don't tighten them too much or you will crack them. This goes for any plastic wall plate, of course.A pack of ten puts these at a good average price, even with absurdly high shipping. This is especially good because cheap plates of this design are surprisingly hard to find in box stores. I guess they figure no one wants plates this cheap? Annoying.

This is exactly the same as the ones that came with our house. Even the logo of the brand is on the same spot. Knowing our contractor, I’m certain this is the cheapest product you can find on this continent. But that’s alright. It’s quite straightforward. Installs easy. Works fine. Unless it’s broken, what else do you expect something like this to accomplish?

I didn't expect much given the very reasonable price, and some of the negative reviews. But this made in USA item did the trick. It is higher quality than the ones I had previously installed when purchasing the place. The screws also have little catch guards behind them to avoid the hassle of them falling out as lining everything up - that is a small touch but VERY appreciated. Best $1 I've spent in a long time! :)

Unfortunately these switch plates are just slightly smaller than the usual size, so if you've painted recently and not removed the plate before, it's going to look bad. I thought maybe it was just my home that had larger plates but after measuring in another house, these are just small.

By captive screws, I mean the screws are secured in place by a retaining device, so you won't drop them while trying to install.Good fit and finish.

given that this is an expensive unit, they could have afforded longer screws or even 2 sets - short and long
