Worked perfectly
Our sump pump went down and we replaced the battery and it still beeped. We tried looking at the manufacture for this and had no luck. Ordered this adapter hoping it would work and it did. No more beeping.

Stopped working after 3yrs
I Bought the original on April 18th, 2018 and it stopped working about 3 months ago.

I had a hunch it was a bad power supply
The controller on my sump pump was making a buzzing noise, I had a hunch it was a bad power supply, and I was correct. The power supply fixed the problem. This one doesn't plug directly into the wall like the original one, but I actually like that better.

This is a handier design than the original because the box does not "hang" on the outlet, thus one star instead of none. However, the quality is inferior. The box began a quiet humming within a few weeks of installing it. The hum grew into a loud buzz that could be heard upstairs and finally quit working at 5 weeks of use.
