As a previous user of the Samsung S9 LED case I was pleased with the design of this latest variant, having recently upgraded my 3 1/2 year old phone. The material quality appears similar to the previous case, that was only showing minimal signs of wear with daily use, so I am expecting similar longevity from this newer item. A small minor change is the LED display now only appears in the top right (case closed) corner, but this is understandable with the card storage slot in the opening flap - a single credit/debit card in here does not interfere with the case closing and remaining closed either.I really like that the whole surround/side of the phone is protected with this case, there are no large cut outs for multiple connector slots as each has its own aperture. My S22+ appears to happily charge in this case on my Qi wireless charger (original Samsung 10w unit, over 3 years old now) and the power transfer option to charge another Qi enabled phone or ear buds etc also works fine.The real benefit of this case is the ability to simply see the time, or what any alert type was without needing to open the case - especially useful as you can allocate an icon to people in your contacts list so you even know who is calling with the case closed, and if you are feeling particularly creative you can even custom design your own with the Smart Things app that is available to download.It doesn’t work well when opened as a stand in Landscape mode, but other products that do this are available if this is important for you, and if you just want to physically protect your phone cheaper alternatives are available too, but if you want a quality item with all of the LED display extras on the outside of the case, I can personally recommend this product.

I have had these covers for my last four phones. They give protection and ease of use with you being able to answer calls and see what each notification is. This one despite all my efforts will not work properly, it does the notifications but will not answer or silence with a swipe.The other thing I have to say I was surprised at is the size of the led area. Much smaller than previous ones which cuts down the ability to name individual callers.One other thing I have found is that it has slid the screen protector that I applied to the phone over the screen, two weeks of use and its rippled at the edge. One of the thin protectors but again this never happened before.Update to review. Samsung have now changed the instructions and the cover does not answer calls, silence alarms or anything while closed by swiping your finger over it. The last ones all did so that just doesn't really help much. Even more disappointed now with the item.

Well I've read some horrid reviews for this case, but having spent some time with it now I can honestly say it's brilliant. I'm loving the mini window. It doesn't have a screen across it so you can use the functions that the mini screen offers on the phone. Like selecting songs or handling calls.The case doesn't have a magnetic front flap closure, but for good reason. If any kind of magnets were involved the S Pen would stop working, or not work in certain areas of the screen. That being said, I've not felt the front flap opens annoyingly. When the phone is in my pocket it stays closed. When it's on the table it remains closed. In the car it remains closed...and new laws prevent me from using the phone in the car anyway, so am even more glad for the flap.As for the fitting of the case, perfect for the handset. Sleek, smart, comfortable. And perfect for the wireless charger. And fits perfectly with screen protectors.Truly couldn't be happier with this case. And wouldn't alter a thing about it.

So my wife's last three mobile phones have been Samsung S-Series devices. She has always opted for the LED Smart Case for her devices. This case fits well, and functions as you might expect, however, is not on par with previous versions, especially the last Samsung S20 Ultra case. Firstly, the window on the front is cut out, leaving a section of screen open to damage or being scratched. Secondly, the front cover is thinner, and feels lesser quality. Thirdly, there is no longer a credit card holder insert behind the front cover, which was always a useful feature. Fourthly, I felt that the colours available could better match the phone colours that are available in this latest Samsung Range. We went for the Burgundy, but it is definitely different to the burgundy colour on the device which is more pink. Its functional, works and protects your phone for the most-part, but glad I bought it whilst it was on offer, as the RRP in my opinion is far to high. The previous version was definitely better quality.

This leather case from Samsung certainly adds a premium feel to your phone. It is very well made and it seems that it will be durable with everyday use. It doesn't offer a high level of protection on the front screen, as the surrounding lip is very shallow. So if you have butterfingers it may not be useful for you. I love the way it feels in my hands & it gives a good level of grip even though the finish is somewhat smooth. It does add a bit of extra weight, but not too much bulk. I also added a Whitestone dome screen protector, which works well with this case. Overall, I would recommend this product.
