Godspeed, Good man

If you've ever experienced the loss of a loved one to a terminal illness, you will understand the emotions a family deals with during this unfortunate time. The author does a remarkable job developing the personalities, emotions and the complexity of family relationships throughout the story as they handle grief in their own way, yet are bound together by the loss of a wife/mother. Showcasing the recipes as a key part of memories, healing and recovery was touching as I think most of us can relate to having a favorite recipe passed down from a prior generation. Yet those memories added suspense to the story with a surprise ending. For the author's debut novel, congratulations.
