Bahco14-Inch Pruning Saw with Striking Knife 386-6T

What is in a painters extension pole to cut some tree limbs that a tree guy wanted hundreds of dollars to remove. This saw cut through 5 inch branches like they were butter. It will take a couple minutes to figure out the motion but once you do you will be blazing through branches. Let the blade do the work. It works so good it was looking for branches cut.

I love this thing! I mounted it on top of a 23 foot extension pole, with the help of an adapter. With that combo I managed to get a 30 foot tall pecan tree back under control. While pricey, the blade is razor sharp and turned that into a light duty task! Oh, wear gloves. I was reminded of that real quick when the blade brushed up against the top of my hand. Did I say it's sharp??.

This is a good sharp blade based on a few hours cutting oak and pine tree branches. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago I paid $45 right here on Amazon, and now I see the list price is $38.95 and it's on sale for $27.67. I waited several months for a sale but the price never changed, but I didn't imagine I was paying over the list price. At any rate, it cuts much better than my other mid level pruning saw blade, you can feel it bite on the pull stroke. With the other blade, I felt like I had to force it to cut, and it seemed to take forever. So far, this one feels more like it wants to cut.

The best saw for the garden,no tree branch is safe around me when I have this with this in my hand, it cuts fast and clean, I'm very happy with it.

Great limb saw. I bought an aluminum extension pole that is used mainly for washing windows. The tubular handle fit real good over the plastic end piece. I drilled one hole and placed a screw and a wingnut to hold it tight. I originally add a combo saw and cutting tool. The plastic holding the blade broke off the first time I used it. Besides, the two tools kept getting in the way of each other. This way I have 2 separate tools which is much more convenient when in use.

I'll start with 4 stars, I bought a 1"x96" poplar dowel to use as a pole, that was perfect for me. The pole would not fit, I had to grind it down taking off maybe a 16th of an inch maybe more. so one star off as they said a 1" pole would fit. I cut off six limbs off the trees and it worked great no problems. It did what I needed it to do. Will update later if it changes.

This is a high quality saw and if you are interested in attaching it to an extension pole with a standard male screw attachment you will also need to buy a Mr. LongArm Squeegee Adapter - also available on Amazon (#TV869628). The adapter fit the end of this saw perfectly. I drove it in tight and then drilled through the plastic insert to also install a bolt and nylon lock nut. Bingo Bango there you go. A pruning saw which can be added to any extension pole with a male screw thread on the end. If you liked this review please give it a thumbs up.

The saw blade functions VERY well. The large teeth allow for cutting green qood quickly and cleanly. The curved tip stops the blade from coming back out of the sawn groove (cut) while you take a bit of a breather. The sharp lower piece was used to luft the fallen beanch out of a crook below the cut where it had fallen. I wish I had invested in the poles and saw years ago. They are far superior to anything sold in the usual places.

This is a very sharp saw. It is amazing what it will saw through. With the 5 meter pole, very little in a garden is out of reach. I've worn one into bluntness in a couple of years use, and happy to buy another.
