METORY Design Upgraded Elite Strap

Ordered this to replace my Elite Strap that disintegrated after a year. I can't vouch for the durability of this one, but so far I'm super impressed with all aspects of it. It's way more comfortable to wear than the Elite Strap as it spreads the weight out a lot more, and it took no time to assemble. Overall so far I'm very impressed with the strap, it looks like it could have come with the headset. For what it cost, I'd highly recommend it

This is brilliant. It holds brilliantly to the head and comfortable as its fully adjustable and doesn't even rock a slight bit when setup correctly. Very strong plastic used so will last a long time and withstand being dropped

I do quite like this strap. It seems pretty sturdy and keeps the headset secure on my head. It has a couple of weird bits on top where other designs have a complete strap over the top but anyway, it works fine with these.The main thing I don't like is that the headphone cups are at completely the wrong angle and in fact you can see this issue from the photos. This part is removable if you're not going to use them though.

Got this for my son who found wearing the quest 2 for some time left him with imprints on his forehead and it started to get a little uncomfortable after a while. With this, he says its more comfortable to wear and it doesn't get uncomfortable as quick (he still finds it needs to be removed every now and then). It can also work loose sometimes and he needs to re-adjust, but that will be more to do with him jumping about line a loon than to do with the straps on this...

This makes a massive difference to the experience of using the oculus. It could do with being a little stiffer at the hinge part where it meets the VR set as it does tend to make the set lay on your nose if you have the unit a bit away from your eyes. So if you are after a headset that you are able to keep the unit away from your eyes a little then you’ll need to look elsewhere. But this is nice and comfortable for long periods of use. It does get quite sweaty if you are doing some fast paced gaming like gorilla tag or beat sabre but it’s not too bad and gives you an excuse to have a break.Overall it’s a good alternative to the OG strap and makes wearing it much more comfortable.

It is my opinion that the factory strap is a bit uncomfortable during long gaming sessions, but after installing this strap I am able to play for hours without feeling uncomfortable at all. My personal recommendation for serious gamers is this product. In addition to being easy to set up, it is also very well constructed.

I got this as I thought the official oculus one was over priced but needed something to more securely hold the oculus to my headThis goes together easily, everything is just pushed together and it simply slips onto the two arms that the original headset sits on.You can adjust the headband using the wheel at the back - it's quite stiff so don't be afraid to use a bit of force to click the wheel round.You can then adjust the position of the oculus by moving it forward and back on the mounting arms as well as up and down.I find that the band is nice and comfortable with the cushioning meaning that there is no pinching or soreness caused during play.I do have a bit of an issue with fuzziness caused by the headset just not being able to pull the oculus close enough to my face.I've done away with the little speakers, they are just vents which redirect the sound and I don't feel they are needed, I can hear the speakers perfectly well from the original oculus ones, they just need turning up a little bit.Overall it's a good substitute for the expensive oculus one as long as you don't mind a bit of fuzziness.
